Indeed, amfortas, I second that. Anywhere else but here, it seems, learning a painful lesson the hard way is considered honorable.

Let’s not fall into blaming the victim here. No one is perfect and many a good man has opened his eyes wide only after having a hot iron shoved up his arse. Metaphorically, that is!

So fellas if Paul is to be a champion of men’s rights we must point him in the right direction. Send him emails expressing sympathy, empathy and solidarity. Throw him a life-line, invite him aboard this iceberg-struck ship and give him a hat.

For the life of me I can’t figure out why wealthy men marry. To have some man-hating judge hand over their fortunes to some golddigging whore after a few years of marriage? I thought these guys had some brains?

I’d love to say “Share it, brother. Welcome home!” but I have to admit a lot of bitterness against these rich SOBs (i.e., swell old boys) who never care until it happens to them. I seriously doubt he has sworn off women, however. Marriage maybe, but never the unfair sex.

On a related note, now that it appears Mr. Nifong is setting aside from the case (though I still predict it will go on to the bitter end(s)), maybe he will get a book contract afterall: “Where I Went Wrong — A Guide to Lunatice Prosecutors on Getting White Males Real Good.” First mistake, going after the reasonably well todo. Next time, Mr. N and your ilk, go after poor white boys. It greatly improves the odds.
