Squiggy, the point is that Bassinger does not have the right to prevent the child’s access to Baldwin and vice versa. I don’t care how sleazy the world thinks they are. The same goes for all those mothers complaining about the fathers 4 justice guys – “if my ex did that I wouldn’t let the kids near him”. These mothers think they have some sort of natural right to dictate their children’s relationship with the other parent. They’re wrong. The children are not their property to do with as they alone please. The courts should damn well tell them so.
