“We made a mistake. This went out under the hand of a junior lawyer here. He got the name from a telephone directory, contrary to his training. He has been counseled and has written a letter to the recipient apologizing.”

Does it get any better than this??
“He got the name from the telephone directory…”
    another reason to go “unlisted”
    sheesh!

Three years old at the time, still a virgin, and no proof whatsoever? Sounds to me like Child Support Enforcement is letting “fathers” off the hook for the money they want so badly pretty easy these days. It’s ok though, they can just blame it on a “junior lawyer” who took the money-comes-first memo a bit too seriously. I know, let’s have another “deadbeat dad” crackdown, yeah that will solve everything.

And that’s not all folks! Yesterday it transpired that a letter was also sent to a 76 year old of the same name! About the same child. But there is more! Yes, this SPECIAL offer was also sent to three OTHER men of the same name, AT THE SAME TIME. Folks, you are not going to see another offer like this in your lifetime. Well, in the next week anyway. Neither will your wife blow her top and beat the shit out of you like one woman did to her accused – but innocent – husband. The Agency will retain but ‘counsel’ the Lawyer who sent the five threatening demands, for being ‘a little over-zealous’. Yes Folks, counselling to an agency dork is thrown in entirely FREE. And if you phone in in the next 2 minutes a set of free steak nives will accompany every further order if you just send your credit card details to the following number.

Right.
