		<description>There was B F Skinner, of course, who trained pidgeons to guide missiles. They were to have been in the glass nose-cones, pecking away at the target image on the final fall. The scheme, like the pidgeons, didn&#039;t get off the ground though and I think he ate them instead. Hell of a fate for a cancelled mission.</description>
