Debtors prison.
Always a man.

I wonder if it was his parents, siblings, or a coalition of family and friends who produced the cash for him.

Notice how drastic the change in CS dropped when one child was dropped off the roles?

So many complaining and…RIGHTLY so…
But, no solutions.
Do you realize that with the rebuttable presumption of equal shared parenting (ESP) that 99% of our problems would just “disappear?”
I did not create this wonderful and succinct solution. But, look at the link and you will see who did:

Let’s stop whining and start doing? Print this out. Tell the world. Yell the solution to the world from the highest mountain tops!

Extortion works where the guy or his relatives and friends have the money to pay the kidnapper’s ransom.
Kidnapping does not work so well where the target has not such resources, unless using it as an excuse to fleece the taxpayers to pay for it is the goal.
Eric, I’ll comment on the proposed UPREPA when I have had time to study it.

Yeah, assuming 50/50 joint custody unless it is demonstrated that one parent is unfit would fix 99% of the problems in family law. Which is why it will never happen. Judges, Family law specialists and government agencies accrue wealth and power via these problems. They don’t want the problems to go away.

No problem. Shared parenting is a solution.
But understand–the only people who have a problem with the current system is men.
Women, judges, social services, lawyers, legislatures, state governments, and federal governments perceive no problem. Their only problem is to get as much money as they can from men. They do not care about justice, fairness, nor the best interests of anyone except themselves.
We men have a problem. Our children have a problem–but the people listed above don’t.

Apparently, the consensus then is that everyone agrees that there is a solution and that solution is found in the rebuttable presumption of equal shared parenting (ESP).
Finally! Agreement!
Primary complaint: No one cares.
How many members does the feminazi group “NOW†have? They claim about 500,000 or so. But, if you scrutinize the membership and reported fees and etc. thereof, it is really estimated that they have about 10-50% of that.
Everyone seems to be in agreement that men represent about 12% of the population that are affected (I did not arrive at this figure-it was stated and no one complained about it). What’s the population of the USA? It’s about 300 million not counting the 12-60 million illegal immigrants (depends upon who you consult).
Can’t you see that if you would just get off your butts that you could effect change if you stopped relying upon others, the press and just demanded your God given rights in the streets just like those illegal immigrants did? Don’t you have more rights than them?
My problem has always been how to get men off their butts. This “solution†and everyone seems to agree with it, has been around for more than 10 years and back in the 90’s, I was the Northeastern president of Children’s Justice.
Everyone agrees it is the solution, yet no one will do anything about it. We tried at the Million Dads March in Washington, D.C. We tried at the steps of our Capitols of the various states. It was tried in Dakota by referendum and almost everywhere else. But why won’t the men get off their butts to show that they support it?
Apparently, men truly, deep down inside are either pussy whipped and/or believe everything really is truly hunk dory.
Since you have the solution, you can only blame yourselves for leaving this mess to your children and their children…as you remain a visitor to your own children.
Good luck

P.S.:
I would bet my left nut that if 500 of you wrote to the ACFC, NCFC, CRC, F4J, ANCPR and etc. stating that you would be willing to participate in a demonstration(s), that within a month or so, such a demonstration would happen and at the same time, more than likely consolidate the “movement.”

The UPREPA is the solution, but it will take the 35 million or so noncustodial parents who have made a victim to all stand up and demand the passage of this reform. It will happen but I fear that things will have get alot worse before this happens. Luckily I have already found a way to fight back effectively. I have found a way to cut off the money, power and control that is the prime motivation of the “terrorist” who run the Kidnapping and Extortion Racket ,the family courts and the child support industry have become.
I only hope those that have been a victim of this racket have the guts to stand up and try it. It does work and it may well be the begining of the end of the God Awful racket we have all been a victim of.
