A convenient Oscar

To the surprise of, I’m sure, absolutely nobody, “An Inconvenient Truth” won the Oscar for best documentary.

Did anyone really think any of the other documentaries had a chance?  Consider that there may have been 20 people in the entire audience who didn’t vote for the documentary’s star, Al Gore, in 2000.

Of those 20, I’d guess 17 voted for Nader.

(And there was at least one person in the audience who was too young to vote in 2000.)
