A 24-year-old Richmond woman accused of leaving her newborn in a clear plastic bag at her apartment complex has “implicated herself” in the crime, police said, and told investigators who arrested her Saturday that she didn’t want any more children.

It’s not working, women just feel empowered to kill innocent life.

“The state Safely Surrendered Baby Law, which went into effect in January 2001, allows people to leave unwanted newborns 3 days old or younger at hospitals and fire stations.

As of January, 182 newborns had been surrendered, and an additional 146 abandoned infants had been found alive, according to the state Department of Social Services.”

Those are not good odds, there is not much of a spread there 182/146. So there is a 40-42% chance that even with the law you will be abandoned under a bush if you are an unwanted newborn?

Maybe this and the $600,000 bail will raise some “awareness” of this law to protected unwanted babies?

When is Planned Parenthood running their VA PSA on this law?

Perhaps they can do a reverse delivery system, call PP no ?’s asked and for a fee we will murder it for you and keep the unwanted birth rate statistics low for VA, letting everyone know our system works!
