Singer Bobby Brown was ordered on Monday to remain in a Norfolk County jail until he paid $ 19,000 in late child support and court fees, his lawyer said.

    What is interesting and NOT mentioned is that he was arrested visiting his daughter’s cheerleading competition at Attleboro High School. This is a PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL. With all the money he has been order to pay not being accounted for, why is child attending PUBLIC SCHOOL? Where has the money been going?

    I wish the government would cut back spend on so much junk and try to pay down the incredible deficit. No politician will ever do that for one reason. It will not get you elected. Telling people you will put more money into things gets you elected. Telling them you will make tax cuts will get you elected. Telling them you are going to be fiscally responsible and pay off the huge amount we owe, will NOT get you elected.

    Before the war in Iraq, the largest budget item was paying the INTEREST on the national debt. If we could actually wipe out the national debt, there would be a ton of money to put into other programs. But this goes against Americas instant gratification techniques.

    The government doesn’t care how well the money is spent, just that it is spent. So they can go back to the people and tell them I spent 20 million on Education, and next year I will spend more! Not that the money was wasted on color chalk and bonuses for administration and not on the actual EDUCATION of the children.

    Funny – how some are upset about a guy having to pay a few thousand dollars of child support but we ignore the trillions our government ‘leaders’ are wasting and stealing.

    It’s the same entities that are stealing our trillions and sending our young to be killed and maimed that is allowing the extortion of the thousands and jailing us when not paid but we give them a pass on the much bigger crime.

    wait a tick, they say he owes 19000 in child support? Then later in the article they say he owes more than 2 months of support to his wife.

    So, just to be safe lets say he owes 3 months support. Then that means he is paying 6333.33 dollars a month in child support?

    Outrageous!
