Our Navy has been among the global police fighting maritime piracy for quite some time now, Virtue.

And that’s because much of the maritime piracy (usually unreported by the mainstream media and even undereported by ships’ crews to maritime authorities) happens in international waters.

Since the vast majority of piracy attacks involve unarmed merchant and passenger ships off the coasts of nations that either cannot or will not control pirates operating from their waters, it’s small wonder that our Navy plays a role.

But it’s a thankless job, with little or no credit from many of those nations and organizations who do benefit from our naval forces’ police work.

So now were the global police…..this is a dangerous precedent.

Right.

Man up.
