> Was Ron a libertarian candidate
> back in the late 70s?

He was their presidential candidate in 1988.

Right down to the come to church once a year on Easter Sunday, most professing 'evangelical Christians'have been infuenced by the Scofield Reference Bible. It is used in almost every Christia college in the country. I'd bet my ADSL internet connection that Falwell and all the rest of the TV evangelists pack around a Scofield Bible.

Scofield was a true deadbeat dad. And his first reference bible - 1909 edition - was financed by Zionist bankers. The Scofield Reference Bible gives unwavering support to Israel:

"It has invariably fared ill with the people who have persecuted the Jew - well with those who have proected him. For a nation to commit the sin of anti-Semitism brings inevtiable judgment." Page 19 67 edition.

Ron Paul has spoken out many times against the Federal Reserve System. The Federal Reserve System is a private banking corporation with a government granted banking cartel which controls the money system of the United States in direct violation of the Constitution. The Federal Reserve is owned lock stock an barrel by Zionist Bankers. Paul Volker was Jewish. Alan Greenspan is Jewish and so is Bernanke.

There is no way in hades that the Christian Zionists are going to get behind Ron Paul, because Ron Paul would put American first.

I would assume they don't think he is electable. Was Ron a libertarian candidate back in the late 70s? This might have something to do with the lack of support. I agree, Ron does have a spotless voting record and is undoubtedly a fine person.

Thats a very good question????
I am a Christian and I know many many others and none of us pays much attention to Falwell especially when he supports the likes of McCain, and Rudi. They represent the complete opposite of any true Christians beliefs. I dont really know what an evangelical is, and dont really consider it even as a separate "group" as you call it. There are Christians and Non-Christians, and anyone that believes, condones or in any way supports abortions and gay marriage can never be a Christian as long as they have those ideals. And anyone that supports McCain and Rudi according to the Scripture are not true Christians.
That has always amazed me about how any who vote for Democrats and say they are Christians, it cant be possible because they are saying that they support and vote for what the Liberals ideals are (which is abortion and gays).

Evangelicals, like every other group, have a hard time seeing the forest but for the trees. They "know" the gospel, but really do not know the gospel, they really have not studied it for themselves to have a personal understanding. The image of cattle following one another comes to mind. Yet, there are those within any group that can see what they choose to examine fully but they somehow seem to be a minority in many cases...
