Conservative sharp-shooter Ann Coulter dropped the following bombshell during a speech at a national conservative gathering:
“I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word ‘faggot,’ so I - so kind of an impasse, can’t really talk about Edwards.”

Naturally, liberals everywhere immediately went ballistic. Howard Dean, Democratic National Chair, issued a press release expressing his outrage and calling Coulter’s remarks “hate-filled and bigoted.”
Good old Howard Dean has not been this animated since being pummeled in the 2004 Iowa caucus.
In fact, Dean’s agitated press release brings back vivid memories of the “Dean Scream,” the first and only mental breakdown broadcast live via national television to millions of startled Americans.
But in this latest kerfuffel involving the witty and beautiful Ann Coulter, I find myself in complete agreement with Howard Dean. I strongly recommend that Ann issue an apology.
Such an apology should be heart-felt, direct, and compassionate. Something like this:
“I am sorry that John Edwards is a faggot. I am even more sorry that Howard Dean is such a disgusting boob!
-Ann Coulter ”
Go Ann, go!

Theoretically, Edwards should be blushing with pride at being called a faggot; much like Clinton pretended to blush when referred to as the “1st black president”.
After all, hasn’t it been the liberals that has helped elevate fags to a recognized and respected minority? –well ok, if not respected then at least politely tolerated under penalty of law..
Isn’t it the DNC who’s been openly helping the dyke and fag alliance sell their faggotry in publicly funded schools?
I mean what’s the problem here? I thought it was all supposed to be so wonderful and…and…gay. I thought that any red-blooded democrat would be proud to be the 1st to be called a faggot. To borrow an expression from Boy George, color me confused.
