I?m Glad They Didn?t Take It Personally?

Apparently the Detroit News didn’t take our Campaign Against Detroit News ‘Get Her a Gift or She’ll Give You a Black Eye’ Ad personally–today they published my co-authored column “Anna Nicole’s child fight holds valuable lesson about father’s rights.” In it we assert:
“Behind the Anna Nicole Smith circus lies an important truth about fathers’ rights. The long line of opportunistic men who have lined up to be Smith’s baby’s dad since Smith’s death has diverted attention from the case’s key fact: photographer Larry Birkhead, Smith’s ex-boyfriend, has a legitimate claim to paternity. He has been thwarted for several months by the same legal maneuvers which are often employed to separate fathers from their children.”
Those interested in writing a Letter to the Editor of the Detroit News concerning “Anna Nicole’s child fight holds valuable lesson about father’s rights” can send their letters to letters@detnews.com.

I was making this point last Sept when Larry filed. Something a lot of people miss is that it’s still a lawyer behind it, looking to make himself rich off of some poor dad’s progeny.
