Opinion Matters Bernard Chapin's Siege Engine

I KNOW IT’S HARD TO BELIEVE BUT…

There are some people in the United States of America who think that George W. Bush orchestrated the atrocities of 09/11/01…

and that Democrats are more responsible with our tax dollars than Republicans…

and that Rosie O’Donnell is a patriot…

and that suspected terrorists captured during armed conflict in a foreign country deserve the same habeas corpus rights as domestic criminal suspects…

and that tax increases actually promote economic growth…

and that spanking a child equates to abuse, but having sex with one doesn’t…

and that the “mainstream” media is politically unbiased…

and that our country is an imperialist nation…

and that public education is generally superior to private education…

and that Israel is an aggressor nation, but Saddam Hussein’s regime was completely innocent…

and that Islamic terrorists are really freedom fighters…

and that the United Nations is genuinely concerned with world peace…

and that racial intolerance is more common in this country today than it has ever been before…

and that Al Gore’s movie ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ is an accurate, scientific depiction of global climatological trends…

and that worshiping God is a more objectionable practice than sodomy…

and that Marxism is a viable socio-political - and even economic - ideology…

and that Bill Clinton was impeached for having an affair…

and that the federal government is the benefactor of our individual rights…

and that calling a wealthy, left-wing, Hollywood actor a ‘Limousine Liberal’ is hateful, but calling a conservative black person an ‘Uncle Tom’ isn’t…

and that cutting down trees is more egregious than piercing the heart or brain of an unborn baby with a sharp metal object.

Considering the wholly preposterous nature of these opinions, one has to wonder how many of the folks who’ve adopted them watch ABC’s ‘The View’ on a regular basis.

51% of the people in the United states are female and half of them are statistically below average in intelligence.

Some don’t wear panties when out on the town.

100% of people in the United States who cry Rape are female.

      Some were raped.

I guess they just haven’t heard of the commie imperialist incursions into Eastern Europe under the U.S.S.R., or China’s imperialist ambitions, etc., etc., etc. Why would America want to employ the practices of failed Marxist ideologies, or those failed ideologies that are no more than the step children of Marxist ideology?

Bush may not have orchestrated the 9/11 attacks–but there sure was a lot of incompetence in almost every government agency.

Field agents in a number of intelligence agencies turned in tips (that were ignored) about muslim asking flying schools for lessons–but blowing off the landing lessons, etc…..

Why were these tips ignored? I will tell you exactly why. The people in these big governmental bureaucracies who get promoted are usually the least competent for the job. Why? Because (similar to a football team “wanting” a superbowl ring bad enough) the person who “wants” the promotion bad enough is usually the person who gets it. This (typically) means selling off their pride (ass-kissing) their shame (back-stabbing) and whatever it takes to get to the top. And the competent people (who have pride) are sick of having their nuts kicked in by brown-nosers, so they leave.

So the VERY LAST THING these department heads are going to do is turn in a tip from a (competent) field agent that might get the agent promoted to the bureaucrats job. This government is soooo unbelievably corrupt it’s unreal.

Bush sure capatalized on 9/11 and passed a host of civil rights gobbling laws. And where the hell is the ACLU!? Fighting some stupid school prayer in Minnesota?

Remember: the Income Tax (in the USA) was passed in the 1920’s, but WITHHOLDING was passed during world war II (until then, citizens filed their taxes and sent in a check each year). But, it was stressed that the government needed timely deliveries of cash to fight the Nazi’s and the Jap’s. It couldn’t depend that people would have the money to pay income taxes each year.

Well, world war II has been over for 62 years! Why do we still have Income Tax With-holding? Government never-ever gives rights back that it takes away. At least not willingly.

That is why citizens need to fight with everything in their arsenal. Sadly, I am lacking as much in this regard as anyone else.

I voted straight party libertarian ticket the last two elections (Bush’s 2nd term, and the mid-term congressional elections), but I know deep down I should be writing my congressmen and protesting all the senseless bullsh*t they heap upon us. So, in this regard I am a hypocrit I suppose. It’s just easier to play WOW and ignore it all then actually do something and get depressed because 90% of people are idiot sheep.

Now, I just take pleasure when somebody who ‘has it coming’ get’s there just deserts.

Like these white collar workers who said Nafta was good for America. Now, software designers, inventory control, engineers and many other white collar jobs are going to India (via telecommunications).

Well f*cktards you thought these auto plant linemen were overpaid, and supported Nafta! You hade no sympathy for their plight as they lost their jobs! Now, I have no sympathy for you! Ha ha! F*cktards, you got what you deserve stupid mislead sheep.

If you’re going to be a sheep, you deserve to be slaughtered. Sometimes, I feel very hopeful things will change. But, other times I feel the corruption is sooooo intrinsic, so ingrained in these politicians the only activity left to me (instead of activism) is to laugh at these sheep that are SHOCKED when they supported other sheep being slaughtered get their head on the chopping block! HA HA HA!

“and that suspected terrorists captured during armed conflict in a foreign country deserve the same habeas corpus rights as domestic criminal suspects…” If these are God-given rights, then they do have the same rights. How many years is it acceptable to hold someone prisoner who may end up being completely innocent in the end? The same number of years that Americans of Japanese descent were held without evidence during WWII?

“and that our country is an imperialist nation…” America has territories and military bases all over the world. Maybe America is not an empire, but there’s a good argument for America acting like one: http://www.lewrockwell.com/kwiatkowski/kwiatkowski28.html

“and that Israel is an aggressor nation…” They’ve even been spying in our country: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article17260.htm

The other issue is that we are rapidly becoming a Bureaucracy lead by an Aristocracy (which doesn’t have to obey the laws they inflic on others).
I mean Bureaucracy with a capital B as in a government form.

FDA, FAA, CDC, HHS, Dept of Education, DEA, Homeland Defense, ATF, and the grandpappy EPA. My point is that these bureaucracies don’t ONLY enforce, they legislate and create laws! I didn’t vote for these a-holes! The constitution doesn’t state that the congress can pass their law-writing ability upon another body–and with good reason!

You can’t vote out a bureaucrat out of power! I also remember reading that a GOP congressman who was very anti-drug had a son who was caught smuggling a couple pounds of pot across a state line.
He convinced the local law enforcement to count only a small section of the plant, so that his son could get a non-incarceration sentence! If these heavy-handed laws are so great why is he changing them for his family?!

What about OJ Simpson? This guy got off not because he’s black, but because he’s rich! For all of this talk of equality, these stupid liberals (and conservatives) miss the damn point!
Equality is (supposed) to mean a billion dollar CEO counts the same in the eyes of the law as a homeless man!

Yet thousands can leave jail on bond (for rape & murder) because why? They’re rich! Not to mention the difference in defense money gets you over a public defender.

When I say this government is corrupt I’m not just talking about this administration, I’m talking about the whole shebang!

Look up in a search engine ‘bonus army’ if you want to see what nasty f*cks McArthur & Patton were.
