WWI was such a War and a debacle as European Generals determined success by who was dying the fastest.

That means that who ever feiled the last Million Troops would win.

WWII was a war of territory and a defined victory.

Korea was a War of Territory. That is why hostilities stopped at an agreement. If bodies were the meansure, we won. We had a greater means of killing and did kill more of them, but Mao pointed out that he could lose 4 a second forever and he would never run out, so continuation was eventual defeat.

Vietnam was an attempted repeat of Korea without popular support, so the insane measure of body count came out in military doctrine again. We won every major engagement and Civilian John Paul Vann defeated General Giap, the Nepolianic Strategist of Dien Bien Phu who defeated the French.
We won that Body Count.

Sun Tzu proved that War is fought between the ears before the first shot is fired.

This means that the War is won or lost in the resolve of the Congress, who almost surrendered had they not heard of the News of Victory at Kings Mountain.

Sun Tzu linked victory to the will of leadership.

For that, I endorse your message and facts other than the Body Count theory. It never worked, otherwise there would be no North Korea, and would be no Communism in Vietnam.

Wars are lost only when a People lose the resolve to continue in the struggle.

Wars of Culture, like Vietnam, like Iraq, where complete Victory and destruction is not an option will always look like this.
