The Duke case has brought the issue of false accusations of rape into the spotlight. One of the most interesting authorities on this issue is former Colorado prosecutor Craig Silverman. For 16 years Silverman was known for his zealous prosecution of rapists–prosecutions which resulted in thousands of years of prison time for those convicted. Yet he is also critical of what he calls the “politically correct victims advocate’s view” held by many prosecutors who want to “always believe the woman.” He asserts that false rape accusations are quite common, explaining:

I have programmed her to be a man friendly person who has the guts to tell it like it is. I am so happy that VAWA has been killed. I am going to be happy when other bills that became law that harms men will be repeals or made no good. Til then, if I see a woman, I run to the hills. She is known to have a train which is nasty. It is later now 10:30 pm. All I can think about is my girls. I hope this doesn’t adversely affect them.
When I reflect (daily/hourly) about the situation surrounding the death of my first two daughters (there was also their half brother Colby who died with them) I knew something was wrong. At one point these children too had lived with me due to thier mothers indigence also. Nobody cared except for myself and my parents. Even they didn’t fully know some of the things that I knew. I tried to save them, but I never stood a chance against the Feminist Machine. Granted all the while i never considered that she would kill them. Who would? We had been a family. Happily married for several years.
They resided with me about 1 year and 6 mos. before she got her mother to help her out and rent her a place to live. I hadn’t been able to win custody because we coulldn’t afford the legal fees. So she came and took them against my wishes and my better judgment. Couldn’t stop her. That was October the 16th 1996 and as I stated previously they perished March 23rd 1997. Less than six months.
Not only did I not receive any help from any government agency that I begged and pleaded with while they were with me, they continued bill me for child support. When she left them we didnt even hear from her for six months. Still my attemps, begging and pleading fell only on deaf ears. Even after i had buried them the child support arrears were still mounting up. These lazy _______s, bureaucrats acted like I was just another dead beat Dad with a crazy story to get out of paying my child support. I spent a fortune in long distance bills because when you calll nobody remembers who you are and have no idea what your talking about. There was a lengthy coronors inquest surrounding their deaths so I couldn’t provide them with the death certificate. Come on people pick up the freaking phone, the newspaper something. Call someone to verify. I had to resort to using money from insurance policy to fight them, and rely on charity of others to pay for their funeral expenses.
We are talking about a sytem that takes child support monies and views them as revenues!!!!!!

I paid and was current on child support( through the sytem ) for years. The entire time my ex-wife would receive housing assistance and food stamps, but no cash. She would constantley harass me stating she wasn’t getting any of the money I was paying.
When I would call the child support place they wouldn’t tell me anything . They would tell me they couldn’t discuss the monetary dispensation to her with me. They said ” Mr T. we can only inform you that you are currently meeting your obligation”. What kind of malarky is that? It is money that I have paid. It is for my kids. Can’t discuss it with me.
I think mothers receiving child support should submit to random audits and have to keep receipts, be audited. We could at least insure it isnt being spent on drugs or alchohol. Or buying themselves things.
It was a major scandal that finally broke several years back here in Tennessee where I live about the State siphoning child support monies into other programs and substituting with WIC and food stamps.
I am glad to find places and people where I am not alone in awareness.

I am the father of 13 & 15 year old girls whom I love and cherish. I lost my 2 oldest daughters, by a previous marriage, tragically in 1997. So I have probably showered my surviving children with too much attention.
Their Mom and I are divorced. Their mother has developed a drinking problem and has become indigent. I have tried to step up and do the right thing but I now feel i have been cast into the sea with an anchor around my neck.
Upon removing them from their mothers care and moving them into my home, I was filled with joy and fear. Happy to have them with me. Afraid that I won’t be a good enough father to affect change in their lives.
The first day at my home was mainly resting up from the trip and the ordeal, the second unpacking and luandering their things so I could enroll them in school the following Monday.
The oldest of the girls did not want to move. She is in high school and has friends in the area where she has always lived.
I was apprehensive, but there was no alternative as their mother continues to spiral out of control.
I had taken a month from my work and stayed with them in the town where their mother lives trying to glean understanding of the situation as well as tend their ever-increasing needs. During that month I witnessed a mother(female with children) running amuck trying to relive her teenage years I suppose. Out drinking and partying every night. Working in a honky-tonk. Never home when the girls are. I witnessed two smart beautiful girls raising themselves.
The oldest has been arrested for shoplifting at Wal-Mart and the youngest for vandalism. The youngest has also been expelled from school for fighting on the bus, as well as numerous other behavioral issues.
The third day at home with me began with the youngest waking me, complaining that I should “get her out of here”. I asked what is wrong? She and her sister had been fighting over the computer. I separated them for questioning trying to get to the bottom and remain fair and objective. THe younger had given her version of the events to me so i sequestered her to the one room while i went to hear the oldest ones side of the story.
Their versions varied very little as the oldest one admitted to trying to bully the younger one away from the computer. When I reminded her that they weren’t allowed to use the computer without permission she became combative , insulting, threatening and just down right ugly to me. I reminded her that she wasn’t going t act this way here, like she did at her mother’s. To which she cursed wildly and went to her room and began to pack her things. Stating that she wasn’t going to live here, she was “going home”. I stated that she couldn’t do that. At which time i decided to leave her alone and hope se would calm down.
Minutes later i was helping the younger with some food and trying to talk to her about the events of the morning when there came a knock at the door.
I sent the younger daughter to answer the door. To my surprise it was the police. My oldest daughter had called them and stated that I have raped her. I am shocked and astonished all at the same time if that is possible. I want to cover the ears of the youngest. She told them of the fight that she had with her sister and that she couldn’t stay here anymore because I am a “pedo-rapist”.
The officer who was dispatched took both of my girls to the county jail for processing and they are now being held in the county juvenile detention facility until a hearing tomorrow afternoon.
I telephoned their mother only to be chided for I apparently have less control over them than she does.
This isn’t the first time the oldest has made a false accusation against me. It is a matter of record and has been investigated a few years back. (When she was 13)
I don’t know what will happen at the hearing tomorrow. I don’t know if she will recant her accusation. Or if she will insist that it is true.
My biggest fear in not of incarceration but losing them forever.
There is much more than I can say hear.
I agree one 100% that something has to change in the system.
I fought a 3 year losing battle with the mother of my 2 deceased daughters over custody. No help from DHS, DCS, or the like. All the while my children remained in jeopardy. I finally gave up in October of 1996.
On March 23 1997 their mother put them to bed together barred the door, soaked the hallway carpeting with Gulf-Lite brand charcoal starter fluid. Lit it and then walked out.
We spent the next year awaiting trial only to be hornswaggled by a system that only sees things one way. A pool of jurors who couldn’t imagine a “mother” who would do such a thing. I was painted as a “deadbeat dad” and villianized throughout the entire process.
I am sure you all now remember this tragedy.
I pray that any fathers on here with custody issues whether falsly accused of something or just battling with the Feminist Left over custody, I pray that God will give you all and myself the courage to fight for the LIVES of our children.
Remember: Someone who is found “not guilty” is not neccesarily innocent.
It is simple, go back to the constitution, go back to common law. That is a ” system of law” ie truth, justice, and arcane old ideas of right and wrong.
Hold everyone to the same standard. Do away with the ” sacred cow class” with special priviledges ( no they are not rights) and when someone hurts some intentionally or by lying damages another person punish them. Punish them severely. Some woman lies, and a man pays a horrible price for it, come down hard on her . To me it is simple as this…if one is to believe that some men are capable of rape, then it should be easy to also believe that some women are capable of false charges of rape. They only reason to believe men rape, but women don’t lie about rape, is if you hate men or you are just plain stupid.
So a prosecutor stands up and tells of all the false allegations. It has to happen much more often. But it begs the question. Why didn’t this prosecutor file perjury charges, false allegation charges, wasting police time charges, causing an affray charges, any one of a hundred ways to throw the book at these liars?
Unless these public officials start doing their job properly and stop this epidemic of lies, soon people, men generally, will start to take the law into their own hands. It won’t be ‘procedural’ or pretty or by the book but who cares any more. The prosecutors clearly don’t.

Sexual Assault is reaching the level of being a Hate Crime, which is a horrible law, because it should be no more illegal to assault a Homosexual, as it is a Woman, or a heterosexual.
The way to protect an individual from false accusations is for the Police to not release names or faces unless there is a prior. It should be stated that “events and allegations are under investigation.”

I too can give endless examples of such stories. Similar stories I’ve heard and even people I’ve known, including myself. The stories are legend, as are the false sexual assault allegations.
False allegations of sexual assault have gotten so out of hand, sexual assault needs to be taken off the books as a crime. Until extreme measures like these are taken, nothing will change. Innocent men will continue to get arrested, and imprisoned on false allegations.
While working as a military police Sgt., and again with teen girls as a social worker, and later with both teen boys and girls in another setting, I heard false charges made by women and girls, and threats of same.
An X friend is in jail, and should be, for being drunk, horny and stupid, set up by a young girl who had proclaimed that she could do such a thing. By the time the court heard those charges by her aunt an male cousin, both favorites of hers earlier… the court thought that claiming she had made such threats was a hail Mary pass ( They waited too long to tell the cops, first attorney didn’t believe it, female, … for good reasons but not accurate reasons… what happened was that his little lies – “I don’t remember, she assualted me while I was passed out… convinced some that he had told big lies, “I didn’t use a date rape drug, I didn’t rape her” the jury didn’t believe that the young, cute, girl, could or would lie. Yet relatives of hers had said she had made such threats, to lie.
I believe he did have sex with a minor (a girl who had sex with older men, was angry, was on her way to a treatment facility for drugs, sex issues, on and on) who set him up while he was drunk on his ass. He got ten years for rape and using drugs … yet no drugs were found in her system of the type she claimed – or in his home… he should have gotten three years for having sex with a “girl” … another year or two for drunk and stupid, but not ten for rape… If a boy her age, 15, had threatened to claim false sexual charges against someone, then had sex with a woman, mutual consent, then later claimed he was “raped and drugged” … the jury would have charged the boy with taking advantage of a drunk women… reverse it, too bad…
The on who suffered the most was his own teen daughter who knows that her dad didn’t drug or rape the girl (she was in the same house, same night) it’s a horrible story, and I feel no sympathy for the man, but I do know that it wasn’t justice…
The girl in the group home who claimed she was raped twice wasn’t raped but it made the paper … another nail about bad men harming girls… the public heard about men raping, not about a girl lying.

mrufflolo has made a very good point. Sometimes we have to “relearn” things we had already learned at one time, generations ago.
Another illustration would be the story regarding the Haight-Ashbury hippies which stopped bathing because they believed it to be a middle class hang-up.
Wasn’t very long until they started to trickle into their local medical community with strange skin illnesses the doctors were unfamiliar with? Come to find out, they came down with illnesses so long ago irradiated by the medical community it had not longer been taught in medical schools, nor even given Latin medical names?
Illnesses such as the grange, munge, rot, et al. So, it appears the hippies had to relearn, what had once been learned showing and bathing was required to prevent these things.
So we are just “relearning” what men of old had already known. Having women lead is not a good idea.
Feminism, like Fascism, Communism, Rome, will collapse as all other empires collapse. Christianity is the only “organization” which has stood the test of time. Makes you wonder?
Worshipping women endangers fairness and justice. Including them in the process to influence or lead is equally dangerous.
It is becoming increasingly clearly why the bible warns us about women. It is becoming increasingly clearly why woman were kept out of business, religion, politics, and law for the past 10,000 years.
In he end, (may be our grandson’s lifetime) feminism will go down in history as a social experiment with poor results.

I find it disturbing the power these women assert of officers of the law…
And any honest sex crime officer if hes not fully indoctrinated will tell you 45% is the low number…
I remember when women were thought to be highly and overtly emotional, and therefore, their judgement would be questioned all of the time, as possibly being influenced by hormonal swings. I remember when they were considered prone to gossip, overtly chatty, with a propensity to dwell on trivia and fantasy, all the while giggling and clucking like hens.
Has anything really changed, other than an over zealous legal empowerment that gives these characteristics validation while still lacking merit?

More often than not the allegations of sexual assault are false. Women will deny this to the bitter end, due to the fact that it makes them look so bad. It doesn’t matter that 1,000s of men might be convicted and thrown in prison every year on a false allegation. It only matters that they might “look bad.” Remember woman good – man bad, anything else isn’t socially acceptable.
So, denial, denial, denial is all you will get from that group.
