US Military Discovers Terrorists Have Access To Green Zone

Oh My!!! they have discovered that in a war, there is no safe place ‘cept back home far away from the combat (and even thats an illusion).

Science is attempting to acquire the money to show that the rate of death is proportional to the distance from combat. the Conspiracists have joined them in their march claiming that this is proof that aliens exist. after all, we never find dead ones in combat, and thats because they live so far away.

on other fronts…

Will corporate america realize that the price to pay for having a compliant work force (made so by the state), is a state powerful enough to arbitrarily take away their toys? will americka go to nuclear blows to get their companies and technology back if china takes them and parks their 70 million ‘EXTRA’ soldiers all around the place?

now back to our story…

the musings are interesting… they imply the consistently wrong belief that terrorists are idiots, incapable, and lucky.

the discovery of the fact that they can get into a place where they are determined to get into is “a disturbing development”

why?

well, because the author is under the illusion that there can be a ‘safe zone’… and when they find out that its compromised, and ‘safe zone’ is another of those meaningless state speak terms that are their to make you feel better… they find the dissonance disturbing. after all, to be correct its only a “safER zone”.

“Either there is an easy way to forge these documents, or they have help on the inside. ”

Again… incompetence must be the norm.. and so there has to be an ‘easy’ way… why? because determined people with state backing and lots of money, with resources and savvy people could never forge complex documents. like all revolutions, it must be a conspiracy of lucky isolated idiots. (thats why so many suicide bombers are college educated).

it also reflects how much the author of the blog has put into their own thoughts how incompetent the US must be! that they would have some one run off passes on an old mimeograph machine and use colored dots to make themselves secure (never once questioning that the whole process is never sound or safe, it just helps). the tacit assumption that we are also lucky not competent. (which makes our position ‘scarier’)

and of course they must have help on the inside… which leads to the same broken loop as when one asks “if god created everything then who created god”… if they have help on the ‘inside’ how did they get ‘inside’ to help? which then leads to the maxim.

In war, there are no inside or outside, or safe places, when there is an enemy really determined to kill you.

of course the easiest way might be to look in the pockets of one of the people that they have a habit of decapitating… stealing one of those just doesnt cut it, its either incompetence, or a conspiracy from inside.

oh… and tunneling.. if they can tunnel from mexico into the US.. and they can tunnel wide enough for tanks from north korea to run to south korea, and so forth… then they can do this…

IDs never provide safety… they only increase difficulty to some degree. (and the more people that have them the less they mean something in that vein). even i you could make a perfect id system (you cant), there is no way to check who you issue ID’s to to not let someone in.
