Update: Thanks to Mens News Daily readers, sufficient contributions have been received to keep the Tersaks from being evicted from their home on Monday. They thank you very much for your help. They look forward to serving the movement in the future. You may still make a contribution if you wish.

True Equality Network (TEN) has done incredible work on shared parenting and helping distribute RADAR alerts to thousands of outlets.
TEN is the only equality organization that developed full medical forensic documentation of over 70 cases of physical torture of men arrested on domestic violence and child support arrearage charges. These are Americans tortured in American prisons using Guantamo-by methods, using Taser shocks to the genitals and hypothermia to the point of permanent paralysis, to extract forced confessions. Terri’s series “How the Failure Of Our Lawless Courtsâ€ÂÂ, published on the front page of Wendy McElroy’s ifeminists.com website, goes into some detail about torture of American men.
TEN is truly one of the great movers and shakers of the movement. It is operated completely out-of-pocket by Terri Lynn and Professor Terry Tersak.
Late last year, their SUV was run over by a fully-loaded earth mover (photo at right is similar to the one that hit them). Both were nearly killed. Terry was in a coma for nearly a week. Both required major surgery, including a hip replacement for Terri Lynn, and back, arm, shoulder, and chest reconstruction for Terry. They are recovering, and doing well, but Terry collapsed last week with an infection and had to go back into the hospital, costing them income and accruing more major medical expenses.
The Tersaks have spent all their cash resources for hospital bills. They are temporarily broke, and will be evicted from their lease-purchased home on Monday, May 7th, if they do not come up with the $600 necessary to stop the proceedings. If this happens, they will lose their lease-purchased home, and be out on the street.
The Tersaks need only $600 by Monday morning. They must come up with another $1,400 by the end of May. Since they will have income from projects they are working on, and an insurance settlement soon afterwards, they will be fine, and able to serve the movement in the future.
In my 18 years of activism, I have never seen anyone give so much, and ask for so little, as the Tersaks have. If they are evicted, their servers will go down and True Equality Network will be history.
I am asking every person to give something of themselves today, by visiting the True Equality website and making a donation or loan via their Paypal link. Every dollar counts. They only need $600 today.
If you wish to make a loan to cover them for the rest of this month, you can do so by contacting them at terrilynn.tersak@true-equality.org prior to doing the Paypal Transaction. They will pay you back as soon as they get their insurance settlement.
