Clinton Crossword: A Seven Letter Word That Rhymes With ?Snowbob??

By Doug Powers

Our illustrious former President, Bill Clinton, wrote all the clues for a crossword puzzle which ran over the weekend on the New York Times website.

A five-letter word for “wife” that starts with a “b” and ends with an “h”?

In all seriousness though, the 38-across clue is “cockney greeting,” and my answer of “Hi, Monica” doesn’t fit, so I need help with that one.

Others I’m having trouble not laughing at are 4-down, “It’s nice to be on the receiving end of one,” and 10-down, “bony parts of a circle.”

The puzzle is here. Give it a try. Good luck, wear a parka, and Scotchgard the carpet.
