The image of eleven-year old Jamison Stone of Alabama, posing with a 1,051 pound hog that he killed, is a hit on the Internet and on TV.
ÂÂÂ
Jamison has been enjoying his 15-minutes of fame, doing the requisite morning network shows. He has even been guaranteed a cameo in an upcoming movie “The Legend of Hogzilla,” based on the tale of another huge hog killed in Georgia in 2004.
ÂÂÂ
Is the South teeming with monster hogs going hog wild? If you travel to the deep South, make sure you carry a bazooka with you.
ÂÂÂ
The rosy-cheeked Jamison is a hero who deserves his moment in the sun, right?
ÂÂÂ
Wrong! Jamison is not a fearless hunter who deserves praise and recognition. Jamison was chauffeured around a fenced-in hunting ground by his dad ,and he had to shoot the poor pig nine times in a three-hour period before it finally died.
ÂÂÂ
That unfortunate hog was tortured to allow that little brat his precious photo-op.
ÂÂÂ
I’d like to see that fat little pig (Jamison), run around for three hours while he is being chased around by a hog. Better yet, I’d like to see Mike Stone, the kid’s father, wrestle a monster hog and have the spectacle posted on YouTube for our enjoyment.
ÂÂÂ
Mike Stone, the kid’s father has created a Web site, monsterpig.com, featuring many photos of the kid and his trophy pig.
ÂÂÂ
Mike Stone is an idiot, he is placing his child in danger. There are a few extreme animal rights activists who would might do harm to the kid.
ÂÂÂ
I pray nothing bad happens to Jamison, but I also hope his dad stops exploiting the torture and killing of an innocent pig.
