Radio: Why Men Tolerate Nonsense

2007-06-06
By

I define nonsense as the female double standard of wanting equality at work and privileges outside of it. Actually, women want — and get — privileges at work, too. So, the female quest for equality is really a joke. But, as long as men acquiesce to female demands, they have nothing to complain about!

On June 5, 2007, I appeared as a guest on America’s Earliest Morning Show with Peter Tilden, which aired at 11:35PM PT on LA’s KABC 790AM, Sirius 143, and XM 124.

Peter Tilden’s theme was “why men tolerate female double standards” — piggybacking onto my 06.01.07 debate with Lis Wiehl on FNC’s Your World with Neil Cavuto.

leopold…We need to start an organization, and hire an effective spokesperson…
We can all pitch in a few bucks, and get some “hired guns”..

Marc rudov, and others are doing an excellent job, but i agree we need even more exposure..

But who knows, Marc may be just getting his feet wet, and getting used to the water…and may just be the ice breaker in many different forums…

Watch me today (June 8th), at 4:30PM ET / 1:30PM PT, debate Lis Wiehl on Fox News Channel’s Your World with Neil Cavuto.

Topic: Is Paris Hilton playing the estrogen card?

  • http://www.antipeonage.0catch.com Roger Knight

    Allll right, Marc.

Thank you for telling me that I raise important issues.

“I have explained how that happened: eunuchs in our state and federal governments,”

That would be what I mean by King Herod. I was speaking in metaphorical terms.

“who are afraid of women in their personal lives”

That would be what I mean by Salome.

I just had the unfortunate impression that some were blaming John the Baptist, that’s us, for King Herod’s behavior in cutting off our heads to please the Salomes of the world.

“Venting on MND will solve nothing. Nothing. Going on and on about irrelevant tales of King Herod and John the Baptist is a waste of your time and everyone else’s.

How much closer are you to a solution with all your ranting nonsense about King Herod, really?”

Actually I do. Please bear with me while I explain.

The reason Christianity is as effective as it is, is due to the metaphores and parables. “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone” The parable of the Good Samaritan. The conversion of Saul on the road to Damascus. These simple little stories take the dillemmas of life and break them down into bite sized pieces and explain the moral choices in terms people can understand.

If you recall the lively debates we had with Yamin Zachy last year, Yamin seemed to argue that as Mohammed was the perfect man, he can do no wrong. Essentially the arrogant philosophy of the divine right of kings. Of course, Mohammed did plenty of things we find shocking, such as the beheading of 700 Jewish prisoners, the consumation of his marriage to 9 year old Aisha, ect. Yamin would come back and cite many of the unfortunate events reported in the Bible.

And I, and others here at MND, responded that the big difference is that when the Bible reports that King David sent Uriah to he worst part of a battle to get him killed so he could have his wife Bathsheba, it was not to teach that such is the right thing to do!

I take the opinion that even the angry rantings of a thurston who wants to repeal the 19th Amendment, can be useful. Not because I agree with him, I don’t, but because it teaches the ladies reading this website a little lesson in exercising the right to vote responsibly. If you vote to reward those who violate the rights of your men to obtain your approval, then some of these men will be SO ANGRY, that they will want to take away that right!

In the land of the Second Amendment, I don’t mind the politicians and judges being able to see the anger their policies can generate.

If in 2005, someone was to tell me that three justices of the Supreme Court of Washington were to take our side on the issue of license suspension for child support, AND the Seattle Times editorial page do the same,

I would ask where he had been getting his dope.

But it happened. If we had five justices, I would have my license back and I would be suing the state for wrongfully taking it from me.

And if you think some of the commentary here on MND is lowbrow and angry, you should see some of the stuff being said about the immigration bill! It is going down in flames.

When is the last time you saw kilometers on an American road sign? An American gas station selling by liters?

People do not have to be rational and refined to stop an unwelcome change in public policy.

We just have to be NUMEROUS in our opposition. And angry.

By giving us a voice that the Main Stream Media cannot silence, the blogosphere has provided us “pajamahadeen” some marvelous successes in the last few years. Dan Rather can fill you in on that. The Dubai Ports deal suffered from our anger and the voice the Internet has given our anger.

Do NOT underestimate the POWER of the dark side of our force!

    Hi Marc,

I don’t think Peter Tilden was joking when he inferred he is not an alpha male.

I used to bartend in London and New York, I’d meet girls, we’d have fun for a few days, then they might show up a month or two later, for a few days. This became a pattern, and it upset me, at the time, that they didn’t stick around longer.

Years later, I saw a documentary on the BBC, explaining that women seek two types of men. For 25 days, women seek a stable, kind, provider type, for nest-building purposes, but then, for their three most fertile days, women go out, in packs, with other fertile women, hunting for Alpha Males – the ‘bad guys’ – who women know (or presume) won’t stick around. The BBC documentary I mention (which I have been unable to trace) used scientific experiments in nightclubs to establish the above theory, which I won’t go into here. Other studies support the same findings.

So, looking back, I can take comfort, that those women from my bartending days, saw me as an alpha-male, on some level (I certainly wasn’t good for the nest-building duties, being a bartender).

Perhaps some guys should aim to be the 25 day a lunar month guy, but do so without falling into the trap of investing any more finances than the female is prepared to match, in a relationship based on equality. Do you think that can work? I think it certainly might engender more respect, if not out and out sexual desire in the woman – but at least it gives the guy time to master his sexual performance, over the 25 days, perhaps usurping the need for her three day hunting expedition.

Or, should a guy aim lower, for a woman who will genuinely see him as an alpha male from the start, by her normal standards. I suppose this woman would stick around for longer than three days, if the conditions for stability were right, which again, the pair can work on.

I wondered if your writings have reflected the nuances of the above dynamic, and what your take on it all might be.

    Thanks.

  • SM777

“They will when men stand up to them, tell them NO marriage, NO children, NO money until you have the same rights they do.”

Good point. Actually, this should work if you live in Amerika. However, if you really do want to get married, I suggest moving overseas.

So, instead of hearing some Amerikan woman bloviate: “You just want to get laid, keep it in your pants, you sexist” or “No, I’m not a two legged whale, there’s just more of me to love”; you can hear a real woman say, “Me love you long time”.

  • RScott

I have to agree with Marc in post 19. The only way to change the system is to get women to demand the change. They will when men stand up to them, tell them NO marriage, NO children, NO money until you have the same rights they do. They will try to control you through sex, but they need sex as much as men do and that game can be played both ways. When attractive and successful men implement this strategy across the board (out of self-defense if nothing else), and women are left with nothing but the losers they meet in bars, things will slowly begin to change.

To a certain extent, this is already beginning. The top 10 percent of women, based on biological power, are doing fine in their competition for men. Study the personals in Craigslist, many of the “dating” websites, read their blogs, and you learn that the vast majority of “average” women are at a loss when it comes to finding a man. They may get dating and sex, but most men will no longer even consider living with them because it is too much risk. Men are learning and responding to the laws. Perhaps when your average state legislator’s daughter cannot find a mate, and she explains this to her father, things will begin to change. Perhaps when another legislator’s son gets hit with a bogus “domestic violence” or “sexual harassment” charge, things will begin to change. The trick is to get the media attention and retain it. How much have we heard in the media since the bogus Duke “rape” case was dismissed? Where is the followup on charges against Mike Nifong? Total, and unjustified, silence!

  • donnieboy57

ffff. if thats doesn’t work, find another one.

  • http://thenononsenseman.mensnewsdaily.com Marc H. Rudov

    Roger Knight,

    I owe you no apology.

You raise important issues about your losses of civil rights. I have explained how that happened: eunuchs in our state and federal governments, who are afraid of women in their personal lives, made that possible — with the blessings of silent male citizens.

Venting on MND will solve nothing. Nothing. Going on and on about irrelevant tales of King Herod and John the Baptist is a waste of your time and everyone else’s.

How much closer are you to a solution with all your ranting nonsense about King Herod, really?

  • http://www.antipeonage.0catch.com Roger Knight

Marc, I will support your solution when you support mine.

I do not call you names and impugn your courage. In fact I thank you for what you have done.

But here is what I am asking:

I ask that I be allowed to step outside on to a public sidewalk without deputy sheriffs grabbing my left arm and leaving me with the choice of going to jail or suicide by cop. For to pop his brain with a .22 as he so richly deserves is to bring down the wrath of all the thugs with badges.

I ask that I be allowed to drive my car without the State Patrol appearing in my rear view mirror because of the permanent license suspension for the completely unrelated issue of child support. Three justices of the Supreme Court of Washington agreed with me and Mr. Amunrud on this. Unfortunately we needed five.

I am not asking for snatch, or other favors a woman may deign to give me.
I am just asking to be left alone by the government tyrants.

I realize that might not be asking as much as you want me to ask for, or that it is different than what you want me to ask for.

But turning your guns against me and this circular firing squad is not the way any of us are going to end this tyranny.

The problem is that King Herod will cut off the head of John the Baptist, just to impress the vixen Salome. And there is no vixen Jael to drive a tent spike through his head.

Condemn King Herod for this, we all do, but please quit blaming John the Baptist.

Say what you will about John the Baptist, but “coward who won’t stand up to women” is the one phrase that does not apply to him.

You owe me an apology Marc.

  • Squiggy

Marc, you’re exactly right. When men act like men, women act like they’re supposed to. No amount of griping about ‘the system’ will change anything.

Get out there and be what you were born to be. The guys with the ‘tens’ hanging off their arms got them by acting like men, not by trying to be what feminists think they should be.

  • http://thenononsenseman.mensnewsdaily.com Marc H. Rudov

    Ray,

I do believe that getting involved in groups like CAFC and NCFM-LA is helpful. But, too many men expect a top-down change in the “system.” That will never happen.

  • http://thenononsenseman.mensnewsdaily.com Marc H. Rudov

    Roger Knight,

I have explained the answer to your question about governmental tyranny MANY, MANY times.

Men have sat back too long while the eunuchs in our state and federal legislative-judicial-executive branches stole our rights and handed them over to women. Now, it is too late to fight the system.

I really don’t want to keep writing this over and over and over again, but I will write it ONE more time. As Tip O’Neill once said: “All politics is local.” To paraphrase him, all misandry is local.

Take YOUR life into your own hands. Choose your women carefully and choose what you will tolerate from them more carefully. That’s what my books and articles are all about.

If ALL men would stop wining & dining and marrying women tomorrow, women would change instantly. THEY would see their lives crumble. THEY would beg the government to changes the laws. Why? Without men interested in them, they would hate their lives. When THEY want change, they scream until they get it.

You guys keep thinking that wailing about government tyranny all the time is going to get you somewhere. Is it working? NO.

So, stop writing encyclopedias on my articles, stop complaining that I am not a good enough savior for you, and start controlling your own lives by being real men in the presence of women: don’t tolerate their nonsense.

If I see ONE MORE soapbox oration on my article, not only will I delete it, I will know — and we all will know — that its writer hasn’t the balls to stand up to women and therefore improve his life.

  • conservativation

I have come to admire Marc especially in these appearances on TV and radio, where he is carrying some of our water guys. When Marc addresses the gender situation in general he does so brilliantly…it seems though we all get bent up when we get into the female sex drive stuff, and a little bent up about definitions of equality.
Todays observation by me is that posts 17 and 18, combined with the notion that the advice Marc sells not really speaking directly to existing marriages, or even from longer term relationship perspective (as MMX rightly stated) are where we find holes in the Rudov analysis…BUT…I start reading his stuff and listening to him and just taking it as it is, not trying to make his advice cross every single aspect of relationships and marriages and family law, etc. and it gets mush better. Maybe Marc isn’t trying to be all things to all MRM people, huh?

  • Denis

“Well, I don’t know why Marc gets so much crap ….”

They are girlish whiners. They are more comfortable communicating with women than with men. Like a women, Hell hath no fury like a feminized man scorned. I simply laugh at them and move on.

  • bombbombbombbomb

“then we have a problem for which Marc’s ideas form only part of the solution.”

Exactly. The government, the courts and the feminists will still work together to oppress you snf the fascist machine continues to grow. In addition, if you are already paying alimony and/or child support, you will continue to do so under pain of prison. Mac’s “solution” just gives you better odds of not being a target, but is good life advice regardless.

  • http://www.antipeonage.0catch.com Roger Knight

I know why Marc gets a lot of crap.

Part of it is the governmental tyranny many of us find ourselves trapped in.

Neither Marc nor anyone else has told me how getting off the estrogen express and learning how to get under a lady’s clitoral hood and cranking her motor is going get rid of the deputy sheriffs who like to haul me off to jail for a child support bench warrant, and how it is going to result in reasonable child support orders and respect for our constitutional rights.

But that dovetails into the economic problem we have with bargaining position vis-a-vis the ladies.

We can all agree that when a man performs hard physical labor, he should be paid hard physical cash. Unfortunately there are these millions of Mexicans who snuck into the country who are willing to do that same labor for pennies on the dollar of its true value.

As long as the 1% of the men with the money and power refuse to give up the advantages such money and power gives them over the rest of us for obtaining all the good things in life, which includes women and their snatches along with the nice houses and ocean views, and fast cars and jet airplanes, etc.,

then we have a problem for which Marc’s ideas form only part of the solution.

I agree, if there are no gold givers, there will be no golddiggers, unfortunately there are those Robin Hoods who will take that gold whether we like it or not. And they will use our women to get it, no matter what attitude we take with respect to them.

  • scottkirk

thurston..” after assassinating the character of a man….”
You’ve character assassinated more men on mensnewsdaily by ad-hominem attacks than I’ve ever seen before in my time on mensnewsdaily….David usher, Marc rudov, and many others…
You should learn to bring yourself up by intellectual efforts…rather than bringing youreself up by using others as rungs for youre ladder..It’s getting annoying…

  • http://mensnewsdaily.com/author/the-gonzman/ The Gonzman

Well, I don’t know why Marc gets so much crap – he makes a lot of sense, and most of what he says is what I have lived by for a long time – he just articulates it a whole lot better than me.

A lot of times people confuse “simple” and “easy.” A lot of these simple principles that gets advocated require a fundamental restructuring of one’s life. (Which is threatening to many) It also may cause a lot of men to realize that the woman they have invested a lot emotionally in is more dangerous than a glass of cyanide.

    We’re a minority, guys. Start realizing it’s a seller’s market.

  • Leopold

Time after time, Marc delivers briliantly the essence of the men’s movement agenda (at least the way I see it).
The problem is, why only Marc Rudov?
    Where are the others ?
Why not 10, 100 TV shows with different people delivering that message.
    Could that be achieved?

Marc spoke of women admiring bold men…Thats the key to attracting a women..

I live in the land of women and eunech males…
When I boldly state to the locals that….

” I’m a mens rights activist because men in 1920 died on average 1 year earlier than women, and are now dying on average 10 years earlier”

Its the adult eunech type males that fear me most….

The women may put up a meager protest to my bold assertions…But they see a male who has not been castrated….and they loose all focus on the eunech type males who are “yes men”.. Its primal for women that when they see a man who has a fierce and bold survival instinct..they can’t help themselves…

They persue the eunech type males to cash in…

  • amfortas

Well at least it raised a grin, MMX. Pretty good for being there only 30 secs before being deleted.

You are right Marc. I didn’t hear the broadcast. There are places in the world – Burkina Faso, Baku, Irian Jaya spring to mind – where just as where I am, downloading almost anything other than the text takes half a day and is interrupted by wind. I am sure you were magnificent.

How about a transcript for the sound and sight deprived.

  • MMX

    *grins*

Amfortas — I know you haven’t read The Secret, but rather a condescending review of it, which you’re attempting to pass off as your own. Your approach is much siller than actually reading the book, practicing its methods, and determining for yourself what works and what doesn’t. Just thought I’d point that out.

    —————————————————–

As for Mr. Rudov, you’re 100% exactly what I suspected you were last night. You understand Women’s basic sexual drive, but you have no SUBTLE understanding of anything. You succeed only on the basis of SHALLOW soundbytes.

    (Women demand; men say no.)

(There can be no gold-diggers without gold-givers.)

(If a woman can go to college and be whatever she wants, then it’s prostitution to wine and dine her.)

(A woman only goes to bed with a man for one of two reasons: raw animal attraction OR wining and dining obligation.)

But where’s your SOUL, Mr. Rudov!?! Where’s the deep sense of understanding how every woman is DIFFERENT from every other woman? Where’s that sense of…dare I say it?…REVERENCE you’re supposed to get when you can finally make peace with women’s often-frustrating differences?

It’s nowhere to be found in your writings, sir, because you’ve willfully obliterated it. You can’t see that a woman can go to bed with a man because she wants to feel her soul connect to his. You can’t see that gold-giving is a man’s God-given weakness, a Holy Mandate to become close to a woman BEFORE he knows whether it’s a good idea because the goodness of Love can only be experienced by being IN it – not speaking ABOUT it. You can’t see that college is only a very recent social phenomenon for women, while leaning on men to solve her problems is an ancient, God-mandated reproductive strategy.

Now, don’t get me wrong. If your message was that men need to separate the High Spiritual demands of a woman from her Senseless Materialistic ones, then we’d be on the same page. And if your message was that men need to become stronger so that they could become Stronger Husbands and Better Fathers, then I’d applaud you. But you mention neither Fatherhood nor Spirituality, because you cannot experience the Bliss of either path with a Shriveled Soul.

So, in turn, you must sell men a pipe dream. “If you just get angry enough and ballsy enough, you’ll have unlimited sexual partners!” (A hottie in every bed…much like a chicken in every pot?) You tempt men with pleasures that no man deserves, so they can oblierate their souls as you have obliterated yours.

In closing, not every woman is smart enough to go to college. Thus, they must behave weakly. Similarly, not every man is strong enough to cultivate enough excellence in his Mind, Body, Heart, Spirit, and Soul. Thus, he cannot have the highest possible relationship with women, which means he, too, must behave weakly.

And while my heart goes out to the Weak men and women, I would NEVER sell them a pipe dream to boost my own ego the way you have done. No one is more insecure than you, Marc Rudov! Anyone who markets lies to the foolish is the most insecure of all! Because such a man dreads the thought of a wise man who can unmask his line of crap.

By deleting my post, Mr. Rudov, you prove how insecure you really are. I hope that one day you’ll regain your soul and stop being so shallow in your assessment of women. My heart does indeed go out to you. But my brain, spirit, and soul do not.

  • http://thenononsenseman.mensnewsdaily.com Marc H. Rudov

It’s as though you guys didn’t even listen to the radio interview.

I get plenty of private e-mails from men who readily admit that THEY have caused the grief in their own lives, by entitling and enabling their women.

On the other hand, you guys are writing long-winded, arcane treatises that send me for the NoDoz pills.

Keep your thoughts simple. Here’s an example: Woman demands; man says no. End of story.

  • mruffolo

It helps the women’s cause that the federal, state, and local governments make and enforce laws that create entitlements and additional rights at work. For example, Minority & Woman Business Enterprise that order 35% of tax dollars to go for women and or blacks. Also contractors must keep woman hiring quotas for on government contracts.

    http://www.mwbe.com

Further, if a business owner receives millions in government dollars per year, then how special would you treat quota employees?

The playing field is not level when our government makes and enforces laws that support special groups of people.

I suspect that if the law was not there, then these groups could not compete.

  • conservativation

As circular as it appears I’m being, one of the things women have when they have it all like PolKnight mentions, is mans tendency to tolerate nonsense. Any man here who has never been so flumoxed and frustrated by reaching that point of complete and total disconnect in what passes for discourse with your spouse or significant other please raise your cyber hand.

Could it be said that, in the stereotype of the dismissive man reading a newspaper and grunting as his wife babbles on is in fact his preferring the newspaper because it is a more efficient communicator? Is it fair to berate men over what eons of social evolution has created as a protective mechanism for male sanity? Ever think male crankiness in conversation with the fairer sex can sometimes be attributed to the equivalent of a PC’s reaction when fed corrupt data? How about napping…. a system shutdown?

    Seemingly unrelated…but not….
Was Alexander Graham Bell a woman?

    Switching Gears

I remember going on a date with a career woman professional in her late 20′s and trying to explain to her why her notion of “modern and liberated” at work and “traditional” when it came to freebies and men paying the bills was unrealistic. Later on, I realized what she wanted: She wanted men to “switch gears”.

He should go to work and be a uber-breadwinner (moreso because her standards have risen along with her own income) AND at the same time able to work with liberated women such as herself.

Then, when he gets home he should treat her as if he just read a Jane Austin novel and hold open her doors and pay for everything and spoil her rotten.

What I wish I had asked her at the time was: What was she offering? Was she going to live up to the traditional June Cleaver role model and cook and clean a perfect home while bringing home her mad money after 50 hour work weeks?

In many cases, that’s what they got as many now complain endlessly in Style sections about feeling “stressed” by “balancing” work and home because, darnit, men weren’t stepping up to the role of being total slaves to them (especially when they are now perceiving that they have plenty of options while career women don’t.)

Feminism didn’t sell women equality. It sold them a materialistic bill of goods of the women being able to do anything without limit. Want to abandon your children at the firestation? No problem since so many women now murder babies each year and aren’t caught that the state allows it. American women now have the option of the legal morals of hannibal lector. (My apologies to Hannibal.)

It’s my contention that so many American women are in a continual seething rage at men because they perceive they can’t have it all and they’re angry that they now don’t know what they’ll get for sure. In a way, they really are “equal” to men in that respect. Nobody promised men a rose garden either…

  • conservativation

I’m always looking for a site to highlight occasional female silliness that we tolerate, post it, and see women comment on it. For like the explorers of old, I seek that place of understanding between the genders, where I can follow their words, or they can see why I cannot. Is there a site where female spoken anecdotes can be posted and then translated into linear thought for men? Babblefish has every language except female to male.

  • donnieboy57

    will it ever change? how?

It is all about marketing, packaging, and finding a segment of society gullible enough to buy it. Observation and a study of history has taught me that some sector of the population will buy into any idiotic notion, promotion, or hollywood media event that comes down the pike. The Reyes commentator on this site is proof positive in support of this empirically proven theory.
