How Can Feminists Hate Men When I Find Them So Loveable?

All this focus on women and empowerment breaks my heart. Hasn’t anyone in the media or government been listening to fathers? I have. Their stories break my heart.

It starts with the mainstream media; you won’t find a lot of respect for, or truth about men there. Also, today’s feminist-driven domestic violence laws don’t address the reality of female-perpetrated child abuse, violence, partner aggression or psychological abuse. Battered (even bruised and bleeding) fathers have been arrested after calling the police for help with an out-of-control partner. “Primary aggressor” and “no-drop” policies are part of the problem.

The main problem is that no one is stopping feminists from stripping fathers of their rights. Right now they’re claiming Parental Alienation isn’t real. PA Syndrome hasn’t been declared or denied at this point. I can tell you; there are many fathers, and some mothers, who are victims of parental alienation. I’ve heard from them.

As I waited in line for the Haunted House at Disneyland this weekend, a woman right in front of me was committing parental alienation. She was talking with her children, degrading their father. Not just that, she was looking for agreement. She asked, “He lives near [theme park]; he never takes you there, does he?” Then adding, “He doesn’t even pay for your swim lessons.”

There’s an epidemic of government and society-encouraged misandry going on. Many innocent fathers are being accused of domestic violence by ex-partners in the move to gain full custody of children. Lack of due process in family court means guilty with no chance to prove innocence. Some of these men can never see their kids, ever, others have to see them in jail-like settings, supervized.

These innocent fathers also have to take months, sometimes years of anger-management classes. They have to pay for everything, even the supervized visits. When they go broke they can’t afford to see their own kids. All the while the children are left in the care of the abusive parent. Very few agencies even have classes for female perpetrators.

At the same time, feminist-driven child custody laws don’t address the modern father’s involvement and time in his child’s life. Nor the time children spend in the care of a third party. I watched as feminists and domestic violence “professionals” slandered fathers under oath and stopped California’s 2005 shared parenting bill. They believe men are monsters and are passing laws to restrict fathers from their chidren.

When the general public is asked if they support joint custody 85% say “yes.” Many parents and children have equal and/or shared custody and enjoy it. When advocates from Fathers4Justice and the Children’s Rights Initiative for Sharing Parents Equally (CRISPE) rally outside courthouses* with signs promoting shared parenting, women are the most-likely to honk and give thumbs-up.

I used to think feminism stood for equality. I’ve seen for myself it does not. Someone with a “loud voice” needs to take a look at the facts, someone who doesn’t benefit financially by the outcome. Then they need to use that loud voice to talk louder than the father-haters.

*Fathers4Justice and CRISPE will be rallying outside the William Ridgeway Family Courthouse in Sacramento, California, Tuesday morning, June 12.

Tried to print this post but there is a problem. Good Job, AGAIN, Terry S. I’d say “you da man” but that doesn’t quite fit. Thanks for being supportive of men. SD

    Hi Teri:

Thanks again for excellent commentary. Too often folks are lost in their own pain and disappointment with the opposite sex, forgetting that we are all connected through siblings, parents and other relatives that are male or female.

Thanks for reviving that connection with your positive article. All parents should be striving for what’s best for children - the right to be loved by both parents in an environment where both men and women are respected.

It takes an evolved woman to defend the rights of men in the highly polarized environment we live in today. Thank you!

Teri, Teri, what would some of us be like if there weren’t sound, intelligent, compassionate female voices like yours to remind us that there are women who are beautiful and generous in spirit still around. God love you Teri. I do, but I am quite short in the all-powerful department.

We have some fine men writing here. We need more. We have some fine women too. Joyanna is here all the time - God bless her too - and Denise. Felicia occasionally visits. The feminine voices have things to say and perspectives to share. We need your voice more often, Teri. We need other good women’s voices more often.

    TS,

Perhaps you can sit in for Mr. Rudov one segment on Fox when he is not available. If you think he makes loveavbe Lisa’s blood boil while she spews her misandry, just imagine her hearing fact-based assertions from a “sista”.

    Just a suggestion.

    Good work, thanks.

Teri you promiscuous e-slut! You are putting yourself out all over the MRA websphere now!

Have you subscribed to the “raunch culture” mentality of Go-Girrllllzzz?

Well, now all I have to do is copy ‘n paste. Very efficient.

From one of your “other gigs”:

    (my response) –

“Someone with a “loud voice” needs to take a look at the facts, someone who doesn’t benefit financially by the outcome. Then they need to use that loud voice to talk louder than the father-haters.’”

    HILLARY WILL SAVE MEN’S RIGHTS!

HILLARY has a big problem with the male voting public, even though right now she’s getting a 2:1 margin over Obama from women.

If this trend continues, and America is to receive its first woman president not because she is the most qualified, but because she has a symbolic vagina to lease for eight years — then Hillary has to throw men a bone. (No titillating “r” — that’s impossible.) Hill-girl has to give men some reason to like her. Since she can’t credibly pole dance, it will have to be a rhetorical illusion. A suck-up with no video potential. An anti-Monica with erotica.

In other words, 2008 could be the best thing to ever happen to MRA’s — most of whom are married and resigned to feminism at work and at home.

Hillary’s election demographics will expose for all to see that women vote as a herd.

That will clarify Gender Warfare demarcations, and put the Wendy McElroys et. al. - all the trojan mares - out of business.

Then, maybe men will get serious about reclaiming true equal justice in this cultural cesspool of radical feminism.

I might even be persuaded to vote for Hitlary myself … just to hasten the actual engagement.

    Still pondering strategy and tactics.

( PS Teri — I’m kidding about your lack of e-monogamy. At least you represent yourself with a consistent name from site to site. That’s a pretty honest woman, a person of integrity, in this day and age of dozens of avatars. On the other hand, you could cultivate more mystery with a few pseudonyms!)

I should confess, I abandoned any gullibility for the female”broken heart” bait/mythology a couple decades ago.

You might want to reflect upon your next tactical narrative…

Ooooh, “Hillary” and “boner” in the same thought block? Not a pleasant thought to start the day with…

Ever since the 19th Amendment passed, it’s been a dream amongst some to have a woman president. Some sort of validation, or something. So maybe we just have to get it out of our system so it no longer is an issue. Sillary might serve as a good bad example, because she’s not a strong leader and I think that’s what the country wants right now since we haven’t had one in a long time (the process seems to divert them out of the pipeline). I don’t think she’s the far-left extreme rad-fem many try to make her out to be — among the devoted anti-war and liberal crowd she’s seen as being practically a Republican — so if somehow she makes it to the White House she’d likely be an embattled one-termer, and then we could at least say “been there, done that”.

Teri, selective equality is what it’s all about, some lip service to the contrary notwithstanding. Glad you’ve seen through all the verbal haze. I’m sure there’ll be a statue honoring you some day. Seriously

A woman’s “advantage over men is her total disregard of ’some God of Abstract Justice’ to which men are unable to be indifferent.”

    Hi Teri,
A barrage of intimidation has been levelled at men labelling them as male chauvinist pigs, so by stealth conniving soft males and hard females can decry the male image. Feminism started out rightfully as a rejection of men’s double standards, extremes of attitudes and ignorance of responsibility, but soon degenerated into a rebellion unleashing the fury of its feminazi hostility against manhood, as these demented bitch’s want to criminalize fatherhood!

Teri, Thanks for the Father’s Day gift in teh form of this article. I wish I could be in CA for the CRISPE event, but many of us will be there in spirit.

Remember one thing. Just as black Americans had virtually no voice until whites took up their cause, so too do men lack a convincing voice without supporting female leaders.

    Thanks for stepping up.
