Communism in a Pink Pantsuit

2007-06-20
By

Inspired by the paper maché figure that protesters paraded about Tiananmen Square in 1989, the 10-foot bronze statue is modest by any standard. These words are inscribed at the base: “To the more than one hundred million victims of communism and to those who love liberty.”

Last week 400 persons gathered in Washington DC to witness the unveiling of the Victims of Communism Memorial. The speakers mourned those who had died at the hands of Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot. And they warned of the threat of Islamo-fascism.

But little was said of the clear and present danger of communism itself.

Most persons don’t make a habit of visiting the website of the Communist Party USA. But if you do — www.cpusa.org – in the upper corner you’ll see the familiar hammer and sickle that symbolizes the union of the industrial workers and peasantry following the Russian Revolution of 1918.

But take a second look, because the traditional communist logo has been revamped. It now sports a gear, and the elements have been arranged in the shape of – no doubt about it! – the feminist looking-glass symbol. Is it possible that gender liberation ideology is rooted the manifestos of Karl Marx and tactics of Vladimir Lenin?

Keep looking, and you’ll see the platform of US Communist Party proclaims, “Among the forms of oppression women experience are attacks on their reproductive rights; lack of quality, affordable day care; inequality in child rearing and household work; sexual harassment on the job; and domestic and sexual violence.” [www.cpusa.org/article/static/758]

Now let’s pay a visit to the website of the National Organization for Women at www.now.org and compare agendas:

Reproductive rights? Yep.

Day care and child-rearing? Check.

Sexual harassment? Yes, of course.

Domestic violence? You bet!

Do you detect a scintilla of difference between the positions advocated by the US Communist Party and the NOW? Neither do I.

Scroll down the home page and you’ll bump into this headline: “NOW Political Action Committee Proudly Endorses Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.”

Then do a Google search that matches “Hillary Clinton” to each of the CPUSA demands. Is it a mere coincidence that the Communist Party, the National Organization for Women, and Hillary Clinton are marching in lockstep with each other?

Of course this doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone who has followed Hillary’s career.

Carl Bernstein’s recent book, A Woman in Charge reveals that soon after the 1992 election, Hillary sat down with advisor Dick Morris to discuss her role in her husband’s administration. Attorney general? Chief domestic policy advisor? Or White House chief of staff?

In the end, Hillary decided that none of those positions could satisfy her talents or ambitions. Nothing less than the co-presidency would do.

In that role she finagled to name Norma Cantu as head of the civil rights division in the Department of Education. Cantu, of course, was the architect of the socialist-inspired Title IX quotas that were imposed on college athletics, eventually leading to the demise of over 2,000 men’s sports teams.

A few years later Hillary wrote It Takes a Village, revealing her admiration for the social welfare policies of France where “more than 90 percent of French children between ages 3 and 5 attend free or inexpensive preschools.”

Then there’s Hillary’s longtime sponsorship of the Paycheck Fairness Act, which draws on the long-discredited Soviet theory of comparative worth to artificially jack up women’s wages beyond the levels determined by the market.

During a New Hampshire speech last month, Clinton said it’s time to replace President Bush’s “ownership society” — which she ridiculed as the “on your own” society — with one based on shared prosperity. Does anyone hear the echoes of Karl Marx’s famous dictum, “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need”?

And if you want final proof of Hillary Clinton’s totalitarian vision, recall this promise at a 2004 San Francisco fund-raiser: “We’re going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.”

So how did communism lead to the deaths of over 100 million persons around the globe? Simple – in its fanatical quest to achieve a classless and genderless society, it tramples on individual rights, resorting to intrusive and eventually repressive state power.

That’s why we should fear Hillary Clinton.

In my view, in fact, doing so is right, very supportive of your point of view.
Feel your article is very unique, great, reading your article is a pleasure.

If Bloomberg runs, you can bet that Hillary will win the White House.

I don’t see it. Bloomberg was a Democrat. Then he switched parties so he could ride Rudy’s coattails, but he never changed his spots (sorry for the mixed metaphors). He sure can spend whatever he wants, but I’m convinced he’ll siphon just as many votes from Hillary as her opponent.

You’re right, scottkirk, women/feminists do not want free enterprise to end and strict Marxist State Communism to take its place. Free enterprise, after all, is what has allowed the consumerism, which women love, to sprout up. Narcisstic consumerism gives women a purpose – this was not possible in the “promised genderless Utopia” of State Communism a la the USSR.

Free enterprise provided the logistics to distribute birth control such as condoms and the oral pill – you could not do this under Communism. Heck, the Communists could hardly engineer and mass-produce those essential items for a feminist society. An economically Marxist country bankrupts itself when you begin to attempt major social destruction (e.g. destruction of the family, etc.), and its inefficiency grinds that liberalism to a halt. And of course, the Rockefellers through the World Population Council and the Family Planning Council, bankrolled the feminist movement as they knew it would lead to a massive, high-profitable, highly predictable consumer economy. As much as women have Communistic instincts, as evidenced by any woman who actually believe the “wage gap we-should-all-be-on-a-common-wage” argument (i.e. most), they actually have Capitalist to thank for A LOT. They can thank it for allowing things to happen which would never have occured in supposedly less “Patriarchal” and “Hierarchal” Communist system.

(Note that I draw a distrinction between Marxist economics and Marxist social policy (or Cultural Marxism). Marxist social policy is what we have in all corners of the West. Marxist economics was what ran the doomed Russian Communist system. With enough Cultural Marxism, of course, you gradually will move towards more Marxist economic structures too – i.e. no land ownership, no inheritance, flat wages… It is, however, gradual and controlled. On that point, I always say that the West’s Divorce Courts do wealth transfer better than the Communists ever did. That is, the transfer of MEN’S ASSETS and CASH to WOMEN.)

The Empowered Woman is the Capitalist’s Wet Dream. She is in fact worshipped by any self-respecting Capitalist, and thus the Capitalist system and our political and economic structures in general. There is no way she will give this up.

Capitalism and Marxism both ended up coming to women’s aid in the end, didn’t they? We can remain Capitalist, but in doing so, we will ensure more wealth transfer and more feminist policy. Why? More consumerism (i.e. spending by females on high-profit goods and services) and more profit for global corporations. Either way you lose.

The deceitful feminazi’s have smashed balance, criminalized fatherhood and created evil sadness . It is only after darkness that man can see the stars.

If the now hogs are pushing for marxism, it is most definatelly not the classic marxism that gramps fought against..

We must remember nazism and marxism are very similar in that they are both totalitarian states..

Women have much to lose if marxism was to bring about state controlled equality.

    John,

Let’s look back and ask ourselves if GB I and Dole had won instead of Bill Clinton. We probably would have:

    1) A republican party even more demoralized than we have now with two moderate/left-leaning career politicians passing huge trillion dollar spending packages and weak tax cuts.
    2) A country that would be blaming the “hypocritical” republicans who can’t balance the budget OR get anything done and leaning towards the left. And they would be justified in doing so because that’s what has happened due to GB II.
    3) More amnesty would have been passed 8 years ago because if GB II is trying it now it’s also SURE that GB I or Dole would have tried it too.

View the Bushes as a big Rockefeller Republican Neocon turd and the Clinton’s as the suppository. Sure, the suppository burns but you gotta get one to clear out the system…

At the risk of a histrionic argument, Nazi Germany worked by targeting the Jews in order to create a sense of national unity and popular support. It helps if the minority is perceived as “rich” since Marxism also targets the rich borgeois as oppressors.

Looking at it that way, it’s easy to spot similarities between feminism and leftism in the states of the 1970′s through present day and marxist populism up until the 1930′s or so:

    1) Discrimination against the “rich” target group
    2) Intermittent acts of violence against the target group tolerated by the police and media.
    3) Promises of wealth and spoils coming from “settling accounts” with the target group. In other words, the target group is the “guy behind the tree” to be blamed for all problems and to pay for all social largesse.

What’s incredible about the past few years has been the hysterical anti-Bush left jumping into bed with radical Islamicists who also hate Jews and equal rights for women. That’s a rather interesting dinner party they are hosting there. Everyone was supposed to get along (bash the white guys) but now things are going to get a little more complicated…

It’s all so funny because the system exists due to marxist/socialist white guys who hate themselves…

The only way a Democrat has gotten into office since 1964 has been:

    1. On the heels of a scandal (Carter, 1976)
    2. As a result of a third party candidate draining the opposition (Bill Clinton, 1992/96)

And now, we have New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg switching parties, just as another Clinton is vying for the presidency. Just so happens they’re both from New York. Just so happens that Bloomberg is worth $5 billion, able to finance whatever campaign he damn well feels like. If Bloomberg runs, you can bet that Hillary will win the White House.

Thanks a lot, billionaires Perot and Bloomberg!

Where Marxist class envy failed to divide Americans and usher in Communism, neo-Marxist-feminism has succeeded.

    Why?

Because class envy failed to divide and break up families, and family is the one and only effective control over government growth and oppression of fundamental liberty. Also, people were not afraid to expose the lies of Marxist class warfare propaganda, but they are afraid to expose the lies and propaganda of gender feminism.

Now, today, government does not fear or even respond to the family, but instead the family responds to and fears government, particularly fathers. Hillary, the NOW, and Communists can’t get enough of that, and they have no effective opposition to forcing their mainfesto upon Americans and the American family.

Another reason neo-Marxist-feminism (hatred for males) has succeeded where hatred based on class has failed is that women are by nature much more selfish than men, especially when each presides over the family. Men’s vision of presiding over the family is to provide for and care for his wife and children as well as himself, whereas women’s vision is to preside over a fatherless “family” and have government force, coerce, and control the “absent” father, never mind that he is “absent” at her “no fault” request.

It is much easier to convince a mother to dump and cash in a father than it is to generate hatred between economic classes, especially when unlike the wealthy, fathers have no rights or means to defend themselves.

maybee I’m too young of a man to see the feminist/communist connection..

It seems to me feminism may have embrassed communism 30 years ago..but to tell you the truth…the women I know would not like communism to assurp control over free enterprise…
women right now are way too super liberated, and have way too much to lose if a communist state evolved..

Not to buck the elders here, but It seems the term Femi-fascist state is more applicable..

    More violence against men.

“Milwaukee Police say a 33-year-old man has a broken tooth and cuts all over his face after a group of teenagers pulled him from his car and beat him following Milwaukee’s Juneteenth celebration.”

“She hit him in his face shield, which shattered into his face. He needed three stitches and has scratches on his neck. That 17-year-old [woman] was arrested and police are recommending charges for battery to a police officer.”

The memory of the policy and procedures against me in Family Court, a secret and powerful organization, still causes fear in my heart.

Easy, unilateral government-supported divorce for a woman that quickly guarantees her a reward of children, eighteen years of tax free income, property, and threats toward ex-husband (when he rightfully grows disagreeable toward the new arrangement).

The police enforce the will of women through the Violence Against Woman Act. An Act linked to the marriage, used to empower a woman to mobilize police and criminal courts by accusation alone to criminalize her husband.

The powerful and monopolistic public school (read: government run) system marches to the feminist drumbeat. Evinced by the higher failure rate our boys since feminists took charge about forty years ago.

Government agencies produce anti-male, pro-woman statistics, while academics, paid by government grants, produce research that support the same poor image of man.

While the Patriarch in the Mideast, Russia, and China enjoy economic success and other freedoms, America falls behind tied up by the nonsense laws that are feminism.

If Hillary Rodham-Clinton becomes President of the United States, then I plan to leave our country for more freindly surroundings.
