Man Who Was Parentally Kidnapped by His Mother as a Child Has Interesting Perspective

There was an interesting response to my Houston Chronicle column Texas Frozen Embryo Case–In Defense of a Man’s Right to Choose (6/14/07) posted in the Chronicle forum. A man identified as “Yankee Texan” wrote:

“At 7 years old, my mother and father divorced based on a decision made by my mother. For the next 13 years of my life, my mother fed me horror stories about my father involving physical abuse of the whole family, causing ‘broken ribs.’

“We moved to Texas when I was 13, against a court order to do so. She technically kidnapped me. She moved to Texas because they could ‘protect her’ from my father. She then continued to bleed as much child support out of my father as she could, while feeding me lies about him…

“It wasn’t until I was 20 years old that I began to ’step back’ and put pieces of the puzzle together. I am now 27 years old, I have the complete story from both my mother and my father. My mother not only lied to me for over 13 years of my life about my father, [she]kidnapped me, and stole a large portion of my life that I could have been spending with one of the most honorable, respectable and caring man I know…my father.”

Men such as he, should DEMAND justice. Is he going to sue her? Is he going to file kidnap charges? Where’s Denny Crane when he’s needed?

My son’s mother did something similar, but worse, when he was 4 years old. Now he is now 10. In another 10 years or so, when the new Mercedes her lawyer got from making my son fatherless is in the junkyard, and the judge who pandered to her child abuse has retired in disgrace, perhaps my son too will outgrow the brainwashing and discover the truth.

At the rate America is mass-producing fatherless children based on lies, bias, greed, hate, and feminarcissism, he will have plenty of company. Perhaps then we might even see the truly lousy mothers like these properly identified, and maybe even get what they have coming to them.

But that’s a lot of “might”s, “maybe”s, and “perhaps”, just to properly acknowledge and admonish child abuse when we see it.

This is of particular interest to me as it is EXACTLY what my 17 and 15 year old sons have been through for the past seven years. I now have limited phone contact with them and it is clear that there will be serious issues ahead.

But they make no bones about the fact that they finally began to think for themselves and to question the endless lies and slanders (after being surreptitiously relocated two thousand miles away to an undisclosed location when they were much younger).

I am encouraged by this fellow’s account of his own experience.

    Robert Stevens Says:

As hard and unfair as it is , those who have “judicially kidnapped” children and denied the other parent rights will likely never be punished for it. In fact, no punishment would be severe enough, no fine or penalty high enough and no compensation devised by man would ever be enough.
The one thing that I work for , the day when this God Awfull Government Sponsored Kidnapping and Extortion Racket is history. All these evil things have been outlawed. A fair and just system, where joint physical/legal custody is the norm and shared parenting has replace the extortion of child support, and is the law of the land. When my grandchildren can only ask about” the olden days, where kids were stolen from their parents” because it will have been outlawed and hopefully some of the offenders are still alive in prison, doing life without parole.
Just like the bigotry of the old south, this evil too , will end up just some pages in a history book.
I will never forget and my children won’t forget, but maybe my grandchildren won’t have to.
