An anti-choice movie? Conservative? The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops rated this film as “O = morally objectionable” and that it had an “abortion discussion”. In their review, the USCCB did mention that “Taking responsibility for one’s child is a laudable message.” This was the only part of their review that was positive.

Funny. I haven’t found one single ‘conservative blogger’ saying “Woo-hoo! It’s an ‘anti-choice’ movie!”

I’m impressed with the movies’ (probably coincidental) pro-life stand, but the language will still keep me from taking the kids.

I’m not sure which is the greater feature of being liberal – the insanity, or the inanity.

one thing i have never been able to digest and comprehend. how can a catholic be pro-abortion? as a protestant, it is simply beyond my ability to understand this contradiction in logic. if i practiced a religion that was diametrically appposed to my core beliefs, i am thinking i would find another religion. unless, of course, i was a hypocrite. i have raised this question to countless “liberal” catholics over the years. the answers are always the same. “the church is evolving”. “change comes from within”. “we need more women in positions of authority” and so forth. is it their belief that the pope some day will support and advocate obortion? that would be an interesting time to live in.

i suppose that long ago, cave people, out of necessity, at times could not or would not protect their unborn for reasons of survival of the tribe. and now?

An outstanding expose’ of an influential segment of the illustrious elite public opinion makers. Their partisan critical reviews will be furiously lapped up by likeminded ‘progressives’ but it is reassuring to know that considerable portions of America still hold some basic semblance of decency and regard for human life as reflected in their movie watching choices.

Ah yes, the leftist progressives support the view of Islamofascists when it comes to slaughtering the defenseless. There might be an ounce of conservatism rearing its ugly head in hollywood with a production like this.
