This is exactly the reason I refuse to donate to alot of so called “Humanitarian Aid” foundations.
This is a clipping from the very same “News Source”, “Der Spiegel” that former Failed President Jimmy Carter used as a platform from which to spew his anti-American/anti-Israel/Pro-Islamic Terrorist propaganda.

Zahar: There are naturally very many weapons around now. Two years ago, one bullet in Gaza cost around €3.50 — now it would cost 35 cents. The American aid money has been translated into weapons. Thank you, America!
*Gasp* You mean, the money the Western dhimmis sent was NOT used to build hospitals, schools and other social facilities? I am totally shocked! Who would have thought that a satanically inspired society would direct the aid money to guns, and keep the Palestinians living in tents! I…I…I really don’t know what to say. I am so shocked and stunned now.
From €3.50 to .35 cents! WalMart must have opened a Super Store in Gaza!
It simply would not surprise me in the least if Jimmy Carter himself wrote them a check funded from his beloved “Habitat for Humanity”.
9mm and .45acp ammo can be bought in bulk at cheaper prices than 35 cents a round. It is not a bad ideal to keep several thousand rounds of your favorite ammo nearby when George Bush and his Liberal Friends fail to keep Islamic Terrorists from launching attacks here at home. I would not begin to tell you what I really have stockpiled. Just feel the need to be ready.
It is obvious that they do not care about their own people. If they did, they would not care about the price of bullets but the price of flour and foodstuffs that their people pay.
About the comment of Israel shutting off electricity and water and thus having to shoulder people coming over the border…well…that shows that Hamas does not care about her own people. Hamas knows Israel is weak when it comes to humanitarian disaster. Weak meaning it would do to prevent it. Hamas does not care that it causes humanitarian disaster. They think it is Allah’s will to do so.
But fear not, Jimmy Carter and George Bush will see to it that the Jews are dealt with!
“Thank you, America,” indeed.
It’s exactly that kind of thanks we’ll also eventually get for rebuilding Iraq, and for all the money and resources we pour into other foreign aid to Islamic nations. But fear not, President Bush won’t hear a word of that. He’s convinced they’re just like us, at heart, only held down by undemocratic regimes. Too bad he’s so convinced. We’ll pay dearly for that kind of naivete.

The problem is not simply that Liberals are aiding the Palestinians. They are making sure to do it with your money and not their own. Open this up to a free market, not violent coercion on the part of the federal agencies, and the funding of terrorists will dry up.
But for some reason, even to most anti-Bush conservatives can’t see the light. They are not even close, thinking “just a little” violence will do the trick. Obviously the “free market” of conservativism is all hypocritical hype. No wonder politicians behave as they do, that is what we have all given them incentives for. Don’t blame them — they are all as economically blind as we are.

It is all too often we equate “foreign aid” with exclusively the tax-funded variety. Guns blazing hero-worship nonsense says that starving children will be saved by violence of Congress. That habit really ought to come to a close. Don’t give them the pleasure. Calling violence “foreign aid” is a verbal trap easily fallen into. Charitable solutions DO WORK, if the federal government did not have a murderous conscience to preserve.
