Blog Poster Criticizes Reader, says “American Women – Heal Thyself!”

Glenn Sacks criticizes the anti-marriage crowd. And he’s right, to a great extent. Women catch too much flack. It’s not their fault they are not being held accountable in marriage.

I will say this: Marriage is not just between a man and a woman. It is between the man, the woman – and the government!

And those of us in the anti-marriage camp – well, we don’t trust the government.

American Women – support holding the government, and the bad women accountable, and perhaps marriage will be something men can believe in again.

Or not. Your call.

Your feminist sisters pushed for this, and you stood by and let them. You can repudiate them and change it.

It’s up to you to join in and do your part.

It’s up to you (American women) to join in and do your part.

Waiting… Waiting… Still waiting… Hmmm, nothing is happening.

Glen Sacks criticizes men who don’t wish to play Russian Roulette. That’s so counter intuitive.

The Gonzman, You’re right again. The marriage licence has to be obtained from the government and the dissolution of mariage endede by court (government)
But it’s futile ask women (or men) voluntarily give up what they have gained. It’s not to be taken by force, but legal action. (Smoking bans were ineffective until multibillion fees were raked by lawyers)
The same with education. Title IX forbids sexual discrimination in education by schools which receive federal funds. But they use the hammer only against boys and men, rarely against women. see. http://www.womenscolleges.org/
But lawyers as a group are greedy, male lawyers especially. they won’t help their fellow men unless there is money involved. But when lawyers own ox is gored, they sometimes go berserk like Florida lawyer who killed several people in courtroom and eventually was executed.

The link Gonz provided re. Glenn Sacks HTML goes to an amazon.com book —

“Caring by the Hour: Women, Work, and Organizing at Duke Medical Center” (Paperback) — by Karen Sacks.

Probably really worth reading, but not while I still have a pulse….

Where’s the actual Glenn article link, please?

Women, individually and as a gender, have to win back men’s trust. Their self-fulfilling prophesy has destroyed it. Their actions do not match their rhetoric, their expressed, but mendacious, desire.

Women- heal thyselves.

Ah, BUT .. I will pose the same questrion I posed in the thread on Glenn’s comments:

If fairness – fault, if you were – were returned to the divorce/custody game, would you play?

While the whole “Girlz Gone Wild” attitude is epidemic, I agree, I could live with it if I could bring my grievances into court and have the judge say, “Lady, your actions broke the marriage up, so you get nothing.”

You have to have achievable conditions where you declare victory, or it’s just complaining

(Gonz) — “You have to have achievable conditions where you declare victory, or it’s just complaining…”

I really can’t tell if you are a cynic or a pollyanna…

I’m confused.

Do you actually believe that men can “declare” anything?

That’s really funny!

Women have no intentions of changing their perceived Perks given to them by the Gubmint. It is all about them. They get the kids in the Divorce, they get a Human ATM Machine out of the Father of their kids. And their new Sugar Daddy Uncle Sam holds a gun to their Ex Husband’s head. Why should they give up any of their hard fought privledges??? Fairness come on Gonz my Brother.

Women say one thing then do another. In the 1970s it was We don’t want to be treated as Sex Objects. To the Vagina Monologues and “Sex In The City”. I’d have to say candidly that Women have gone nuts.

Won’t happen in my lifestyle until we create the situation to warrant it. The only reason that a female will help is when it’s in her own selfish interest.

We’re on our own.

I think everyone here is in agreement that we have to provide sufficient MOTIVATION for women to want to change the status quo.

12. The Gonzman,
You make “motivation” the main hope for women to change th status quo. But why would feminist do it? The feminst have men by their gonads (Madalyn Allright’s word?)
Communism in Soviet Union did not end untill the slogan “Let my people go” created brain drain. The Supreme Court justice Arthur Goldber’s son Arthur Goldberg Jr said “We created Soviet Union and we destroyed it”. Similar thing is happening in the United States, men who build the infrastructure and Constituion are letting feminist legislators and Supreme Court to turn the original intent upside down.
Carrot and the stick aproach won’t work. Something more drastic has to happen to reverse the slide to te eve of destruction

You have pretty much already set yourself up for a leap off the nearest rhetorical cliff, because you are suggesting that YOU may indeed KNOW what MOTIVATES womenzzzz?

Give it a go, Gonz!

Use that southern Indiana poetic charm that we all admire…

It’s worked before! ;-)

Seriously, with respect.
