A Statement of Gender
In preparing to E-mail information materials to an overseas reader I realized that I had written one of the pieces on a word processor about eight years ago and therefore did not have a copy stored in my computer. The piece is A STATEMENT OF GENDER, which I have retyped and am presenting below as it is germane to recent discussions and might be of interest to you. A STATEMENT OF GENDER
Gender exists throughout the universe and the universe could not exist without the influence of gender.
The masculine gender sets standards, whether moral, ethical, educational or societal. It also provides stability, constancy and discipline. The masculine gender pioneers new concepts and creates new products. These attributes of the masculine gender provide the secure environment that enables the feminine gender to nurture the race.
The production of things, the movement of life, the relationship of people, and the well being of society depends upon the principle of gender. In order for electricity to flow in a battery an anode and a cathode are required, and in all else there must be a positive and negative condition for energy to flow, things to grow, and life to move.
Hermes Trismegistus first enunciated the principle of gender at the beginning of the history of this age and examples of it abound in the Tao, Bible, Koran, and in astrological and numerological sciences.
The understanding of the principle of gender is instinctive, for it enables the nurturing and protection necessary to sustain all life. The nurturing process is a manifestation of the feminine gender and the protective process is a manifestation of the masculine gender.
When the unprecedented flowing forth of the creative WILL of the masculine gender invented and produced a plethora of goods and services the effect of which so changed our lives to a degree that we called it a revolution, human thinking regarding the primary roll of men became confused. It was thought that their primary roll was the production of goods and services; therefore men left the home to work long hours in factories, mines, and the wilderness. The administration of the home, and most tribal functions was left to women, creating an imbalance of gender the effects of which would deleteriously alter society.
As women were trained to perform the productive work that men had created a perception developed that there was no difference in performance between men and women in the workplace and in societal activities. Consequently society experienced the decrease of three of the major manifestation of the masculine gender: the creative WILL, the pioneering spirit, and governance.
The decrease of the creative WILL has resulted in a decrease in inventiveness, especially of a conceptual nature. The decrease in the pioneering spirit has resulted in a decrease in entrepreneurial activity, especially as it relates to NEW. The decrease in masculine governance has resulted in a reduction or elimination of standards of all sorts, and a bastardization of religious doctrine.
Crime, rape, adultery, fraud, unwed motherhood, venereal disease, substance abuse, incarcerations (the highest rate in the world), teenage murder, teenage pregnancies, and disrespect for authority have all increased. Narcissism has become the new pursuit, supplanting dedication to the family, tribe, and race. SELF has become the paramount concern, and government has become the vehicle for pampering the SELF. The infrastructure has deteriorated, academic performance has declined, and people have become apprehensive about what they perceive to be the unraveling of the fabric of society, but which is the decrease in the protection and consequently the nurturing of the race—a condition called chaos.
Chaos is the natural consequence of the diminution of the influence of the masculine gender in society—animal or human. The elimination of this chaos requires a reassertion of the natural role of the masculine gender.
A more balanced manifestation of gender will restore reasonable order to society and create a more wholesome relationship between men and women. It will elevate the family to its natural position of importance and will inculcate a sense of responsibility to the tribe as a primary vehicle of societal relationships.

Here’s the thing.
First, a quote from you. One could argue that the need to assert one’s masculinity is insecure, i.e. feminine.
Yes, one “could argue” – but who cares what “one could argue”? Where’s the meat?
Did you know that Herb Goldberg, a PhD who has treated and healed many men since the 60s asserted that the number one reason behind male action was to prove himself? And, not only that, have you seen the vast number of species in which either (a) the male tries to impress females through acquiring resources (proving himself), or (b) doing little dances (proving himself), or (c) fighting off other males (proving himself!!)
I don’t mind that you want to walk away from what seems to be a natural male phenomenon, BUT
What’s the alternative?!
What’s the opposite of “proving oneself” and how is that BETTER than proving oneself?

NO! It’s because you spend so much time saying, “Elder = bad” but you spend NO TIME AT ALL saying, “MY approach = BETTER” And the more anyone asks you to explain your approach, the more you ignore the questions. This suggests that you have no approach and are instead trying to glorify the ZERO POINT. (Do nothing. Have faith in non-action. DOn’t make assertions. DOn’t claim anything is better than anything else.)

Being a young man who wants to live an observed/introspective life…I now make it a habit of speaking occassionally with elderly men…
It’s very interesting to notice that men who grew up prior to 1950 (pre feminist onslaught)…have a different paradigm/perspective on life/politics.
Maybee it’s as men age and realise their mortality..they loose alot of the fears that harbor in ones being…A man in his waning years must reconcile his life to god as he understands him!! And will act/speak his conscience irrelevant of most others, again because in a mans waning years…It’s about reconciling with god, not man.
Alot of the middle aged men I’ve met speak and act from a different paradigm…they were raised post 50’s (feminist victim demagoguery/ social construction…There in their middle years/ are not recociling their lives to god in any earnest fashion/ and think they know it all, and rarelly consult the elderly because they have been feminist advised not to…and culturally men are now isolated from one another..
with this said…E.G.’s writings are open to critique/ refining like everyone elses here.. But the middle aged men who think they have it all figured out, and attack a pre 1950’s perspective should keep the time frame/paradigm shifts of the 50’s onward in mind..

Masculine Feminine are unseen forces.
The material world is a physical manifestation of these forces.
The material world is not seperate from, but rather springs forth from, these forces.

The real lesson is found where Mr. Rudov’s approach and Elder’s approach see eye to eye, neither Masculinity nor Femininity is manifested by Materialism. Neither can be measured by that, yet Western Civilization is endlessly racing for materialism.
In doing so, holding intellectualism over spirituality, it sold our Eve’s the lie of Materialism “you can have it all” as if there was something more to be had than being what you are. Then we Adams went along with it for the nookie points, the game.
It has been nothing but disaster.
When you begin to look back to the beginning of the problem you will drive down the road and see David Usher Parked on the side of the Road in 1960 fighting with some bra burners. If you keep going past him you will find the materialist railing against the post War industrial boom.
Drive further and look in the rearview mirror and you will see a signpost backwards that says you have reached the twilightzone. That was the Suffragist Movement that nobody wants to talk about because they will be called a wacko.
So back in time and history somewhere past the 1880’s when the second American Revival sold People a Feminized Jesus, there was some hope of Western Civilization.
But now Multi-culturalism will not allow that culture any manifestation.
Shame, it had some good ideas, but perhaps Founding Documents and Habeas Corpus, and the Magna Carta were just manifestations of fixes for Moral and Spiritual Failures of Men.
Yes, what if men could live together under the concepts without the need of the paper which is ignored by everyone anyway?

We can either get on with living or get on with dying. We cannot do both.
This means the fact that Western Society has failed Mankind, as Man is now being detroyed by so many means, indicates that it will be left to die.
Meanwhile, we keep on going, and we will have the opportunity to embrace the spiritual to make a Sustainable Society.

The Oven gives us Hims and Hers
The Oven is the source of masculine and feminine
The essence of gender in nature, most specifically in animals, is this:
He wants to put His Bun in Her Oven
The Oven determines when that will occur
The Oven is the star of the show
Him, Her, and The Bun are supporting characters.
So both male and female are interactively influencing each other, a give a take. At times one is the actor, at times its the other.

With regard to the lion ex. above, some will say “the male is active and the female is receptive”
Its actually a bit turned around.
(1) females BECOME receptive (2) this receptivity ACTS on the male (3) CAUSING him to be active
Nature’s reason for having male/female is TO MAKE BABIES.
All else is peripheral to this.
Males produce many sperm and our part in the sex act need only be or as long as it takes to ejaculate.
Women produce one fertile egg at a time and then invest 9 months, using their bodies and minerals to house, grow, and feed the baby.
I’ve heard a lot about the active/passive force/principle.
I remember an example involving a male lion being active and mating with a passive female.
Fine. You run into problems using animals to illustrate human behavior when talking to adults. It would be a good story or children to hear.
The problem is: animals are slaves to their biology. The lion is king and has his needs met. The female is passive. But, they only have sex when the female is in heat, when she is good and ready, when her body produces the right hormones. The female might be receptive, but only when she SAYS she’s receptive. She sets the time for sex, and she only uses sex for procreation, never pleasure. If you have dogs or cats, or live on a farm, you can see the only time they copulate is when the female is in heat.
So in the lion context, it is the females who gather in prides, getting pregnant, having sex when their bodies say the time is right. The males spend much of their energy guarding the harem and fighting off other males who want to usurp their place.
So if you say the male is being active, one could say its the female who, by virtue of hormonal activity, is calling the shots and really in command.
In a very real way I want to put it like this: when it comes to using animals it leads to poor analagies because in the animal world the female is ultimately in control and out of harms way, while the males are boy toy studs who fight and compete for the right to deposit their DNA to carry on to the next generation.
