A Taste of Things to Come
My thanks to all who did not succumb to the tactics of the few who cast aspersions about my integrity, and the integrity of those who support my message, and of those who support my right to present it. The attack of unfounded charges approached hysteria and reflects desperation.
It was a good experience for all who participated for it showed in microcosm what to expect in macrocosm as our message and movement take root. All of the enemy are not “out there” somewhere. Always a portion of the enemy is within. An Indian Hindu killed Gandhi, an Egyptian Muslim killed Sadat, an Israeli Jew killed Rabin, and we all know who did Jesus in.
There will always be some who want to impede your success whether due to envy, the loss of their position, or the fear of change.
These are normal reactions. If you plan to stay the course with Men’s Action be prepared to face much worse when up against the true enemy. Do not even dream of participating in change without having the expectation of violent reaction to your views. You are witnessing one of the reasons why making social change is difficult. Many are called and few are chosen applies to all who attempt to make change; you have to be willing to withstand the abuse.
It helps to recall the words of Martin Luther King who suffered much abuse in his attempts to make social change: “Never succumb to the temptation to become bitter. As you press on be sure to move with dignity and discipline, using only the weapons of love.”
The attack provided other lessons. Those who accept my message and expand upon it are inner motivated rather than responsive to outward stimuli. They have been reminded of the truth within them. Our system of education is feminine oriented. It pours information into people and then gives them the opportunity to recite what they retained. Their recitations are awarded certificates, diplomas, degrees, and licenses. Women like to recite, that’s why they are preferred in school and industry. Real men don’t like to recite information; they prefer to understand the knowledge that comes from within. Once this knowledge is understood it cannot be extinguished; instead it serves as the motivation to go and make change. I am elated at the manifestations of the inner truth contained in the comments to my blogs.
Gathering support on MND is important as long as the objective of disseminating the knowledge that created the support is kept in mind. Like-minded people live near you, work near you, worship near you, or who just happen to be near you; reach out to them. They are thirsting for someone to give them hope and an alternative to what they have. It does not take a great mind to see that the system has collapsed. It takes courage to offer an alternative and work to bring it to fruition.

If a bridge collapsing (and a couple years earlier a dam in New Orleans) is not a tangible touchable metaphor for the crumbling of society then nothing is. The normal reaction today is for the President to do a fly over, Congress to work on Saturday and allocate 30MM dollars to fix the bridge, then get right back to the business of allowing more illegals in, offering them government goodies, and talking taking taking from those of us who work and produce.
Look around people, the kinder gentler nation has so coddled EVERYONE based purely on emotionalism that instead of building new bridges and repairing those that are old, our system will offer money to people to not have to go to work therefore never placing them on a commuter bridge and alleviating the risk that way. I mean after all is it not cruel that people must toil while the “rich” get richer? There will be those who say they believe the rich never do things as pedestrian and cross bridges, therefore EVERYONE has a right to not cross bridges.
It is sad to watch our discourse in this country as the brick and mortar fall apart and away. I heard Paul Harvey the other morning and he was saying something interesting. He asked that someone, anyone, give him or us a slogan. He seeks a slogan that Americans could unite behind, and take pride INSIDE our country again, where “can do” once again reigns, and “can have government do for me” is anathema. Only then can we be once again great and really be a leader in the world.

The marriage bridge is out.
It looks like the media has something to foreber investigate and scrutinize because there are literally thousands of bridges that are placing all of our lives at risk.
Seems that like children the Fed and State gov’tments now see that the car does not run without a road as well as regular maintainence.
Too bad we are doing all of our building in Iraq.
So the media now understands our infrastructure is in crisis.
It will take how long to repair and replace everything?
Meanwhile the Family infrastructure of our nation is equally collapsed.
How long can we wait for that to get addressed? Before the government withdraws and allows us to get back to our lives and letting us privately rebuild?
There is little doubt that privatization of the roads will be the solution sold to us.
So will government soon allow us to re-privatize our Families?
I am not holding my breath.
I have talked again to Bitch. I have redressed the alleged belief system of a State that rejects G-D having authority over husband and wife in holy matrimony.
I exposed the insane hypocricy of blindly following this society.
She understands the Statist Marriage Bridge is out. The road is not to happiness, it is disaster.
We cannot Take back our Nation until we take back the family.
It is time for the no confidence vote of the congress qnd return the Republic.

George, we have nothing to fear from you because you will never get far. Your movement will never fly because sensible people will never support it. I do not expose your blunders out of fear or envy but to help well-meaning people see through your smokescreen of lies and rubbish.
You and MMX are a couple of frauds. You both pay lip-service to truth and spirituality, while at the same time you George let that lying spin-doctor be your spokesman. What kind of truth is that?

Asking for clarity is not abuse. But calling it abuse is good spin-doctoring.
George, you and MMX are good spin-doctors, but don’t really have much to offer the movement. Your “success” seems to be limited to writing, much of which is just silly. And if not for Mike/MND, where would you be?
How many followers do you actually have? Show us your success. Why should we envy what we have not seen?
Your above article is a smokescreen of lies. You can’t claim to have integrity when you misrepresent things (such as calling the constitution communist) and let that liar MMX be your spokesman. You are responsible for what he says since he claims to be your spokesman and you have not corrected his many many distortions these last few weeks.

You call it an attack but your own supporters were doing a lot of the attacking. Some people made a perfectly reasonable request for you to clarify your position and you refused to do so. A lot of the hysteria was your own paranoid supporters kicking up smoke and going ballistic, making it sound like a “witch hunt” etc. A real leader would CORRECT his followers for those mistakes, not thank them.
You called this article “A Taste of Things to Come”. Yes George, we know what to expect from you in the future. Lies. When someone questions you, your group will twist things, label it a “witch hunt”, act like you are being victimized, and go ballistic with hype and accusations to defend you. Then you will talk about “truth” and your “integrity” and thank them for their support and acting like “men”.

Some people make positive contributions. And some make negative contributions (is that the same as a baseless deduction?).
The major failing of the blog system is that it allows ***instant*** response. A major failing among some bloggers is that they do respond instantly (ie. they don’t take the time to actually reflect on what they’ve read, and understand it).
I will not be responding to anything directed at this post (assuming there is any). It is not my intent to start a dialog. It ***is*** my hope to cause some to actually spend more time thinking about what they’ve read than the time it takes to read it.

I am not sure whether I am allowed to do this but …. it would be great to have some support for fathers on this poll.
The Anglican church is asking what we need to do to stop the bad record of child abuse. One of the offered solutions is to stop forcing fathers out of children’s lives. Great to see they are getting the message. A vote from you would be another voice. And the more voices, the better people hear.

About sitting back and reflecting: EG’s stuff is nothing more than some seed to think about for yourself. I’ve been reading along since February, have read prior stuff, other sources, his book, and am amazed people calling it ‘hogwash’.
The book is on Amazon, which has a return policy…
infidel, Please use your commenting to show at least me what your ‘philosophy’ (as in what to do) is; the only thing I’ve picked up is distributing fliers, which is a good thing, but there’s no magic pill, and no magic flier.

Infidel, its starting to look a little creepy. That someone would spend the time and affort to type so many consecutive posts, and always increasing the temperature seemingly more and more provocative, is bizarre. I am not just using absurdity to point out the absurd when I say this resembles what a schoolyard bully does when he is begging for a physical reaction from the kid he is picking on. It is poetic and very very valid that it could more likely seem that you are “dangerous” and prone to violence what with this obsessive compulsive drive you have to provoke EG.
Could someone please ask infidel to calm down a bit? His words are far more indicative of instability and potential violence than anything written by EG. If someone took that much time and wrote that many posts after something I had written it would give me pause.

Father support is already in Elder’s message!
When he says, “Would you buy a car that never worked?” he’s reminding us that government intervention into families has never produced a stable, happy, coherent family unit.
That’s how Elder’s message works. Fix your mindset first, and then ALL of the tangible problems go away. That’s what I was trying to show you before, when I told you that his “intangibles” are never really “just intangibles”.

Cons, I am not the one dissing the rule of law. I have been supporting the constitution. It’s silly to associate the number of posts with violence. If so, then why isn’t MMX just as scary as me? I don’t think you are really scared of me, I think you and other of George’s supporters are scared of my arguments. I think you are just saying that as a tactic.
Anyway, let me clarify my position on violence. First, I think it would do the movement more harm than good. Second, there are much more effective tactics. Third, I think it is wrong.
Now why can’t other people make a simple statement like that?

Why don’t you take assertive male action…and pursue the noble goal of making the mens rights movement so loud and broad that E.G’s voice is simply one more in a sea of male friendly voices!!
Use youre energy more effectivelly…and E.G’s message will no longer make you manic!!…reach out to people like there in no tommorro!!

spot on. If everyone who follows MND did something other than simply posting here the movement would go forward faster. That “something” can take many forms. Ray Blumhorst provides a good example. But it can be as simple as telling friends about MND and http://www.angryharry.com. It can be talking to a church leader or a veterans organization leader. Imagine if we could get some coverage about men’s rights in monthly veterans newsletters, or weekly church newsletters. How about advertising in these for MND and http://www.angryharry.com? College students can raise awareness. There are other ways. Anyone else have some ideas?

Infidel, I agree it is silly. It was for illustrative purposes, and you seem to have a keen grasp of the obvious. I did NOT however say it in any way to “support EG’s message” or derail your “message”. My remarks stand independent of any message. Note I’ve not been directly engaged in this little squabble, nor will I be, because as you say, it (the entire thing) is silly.
But I can assure you that in our feminized culture, if EG was a woman and you were chasing about as you are, it would be construed as some goofy thing like “cyber-stalking”, and as messed up as things are, it could stick. Even here among men it seemed a bit over the top to post so many times. One envisions you gnashing teeth and seething, perhaps breaking keys on the keyboard and losing sleep over this. At a certain point adults, men and women I hope, when faced with an entrenched disagreement, will simply agree to disagree and either look for a shred of common ground or walk away.
I ask myself a very basic question about a lot of choices in life. The question is, “what’s my downside?” You act as if you have a downside if EG continues to post and, heaven forbid, some people agree with him. I’m just curious, personally what is YOUR downside? By now I would have determined there is none for me and let it go…but that’s just me.
I no more want to get into the debate with you than I want a root canal, I’m just curious why the passion.

Nearly all of EG’s messages concern the family unit. He simply does not cite the western thinking of this unit.
Hence EG’s many examples of the Middle-eastern family unit. There family ties are very strong and cover multiple generations.
Here is a good example of the Western family philosophy: What do we do with our elders?
For most, we stick them in a home filled with uncaring strangers and wait for them to die so we can collect their assets.
Sounds harsh but its the undeniable truth.

I think you have posted this on the wrong board. Stats show the majority of child abuse is committed by women. Maybe this should be posted over on the NOW forums.
Granted we would love to help but current law set of this society would have us blamed for this abuse and imprisoned.
I recently watched a television program where a small female child was huddled on a street corner with the look of needing assistance. They filmed this child for many hours and what they saw was that the men acknowledged the child in distress, they would not stop to help.
When asked why, the overwhelming answer was something like “I wanted to help but was afraid of being labeled a pedophile”.

If you disagree with any of E.G.’s philosophical points, debate him on those points you disagree with. And if E.G. chooses not to answer questions he feels are stupid and not worthy of answering, that’s his prerogative. If I were in his shoes, I would walk away from a fight with an irrational person, too. Intelligent people choose their fights judiciously. At this point, you don’t seem to me to even come close to the intelligence level of E.G.

I think any self-respecting feminist of today would classify your attacks as verbal abuse which by definition generally comes under the domestic violence category. So what significance does having someone such as yourself certify that they don’t believe in violence? In the end, it means nothing and I’m sure that’s one of the reasons E.G. chooses to ignore the question.

With a number of people twisting my words, imputing false motives, blowing smoke, and with me being outnumbered here much of the time, it shouldn’t be surprising I make more posts than most people.
Face it, you guys are distorting things to portray me as a nut because you can’t refute my arguments. OK, maybe some of my invective is a little over the top, but that’s about par for the course on this site. Why don’t you guys ever call each other on it? Why am I the bad guy? You know MMX probably posts as much or more than I do (and he often adds nothing substantial to the discourse) and I’ve never heard anyone call him on it, and EGists have called me on it more than once.
Ditto-head, MMX *is* a liar, and pointing it out is not childish. And it is highly relevant because he is George’s spokesman, so that makes George responsible. It strikes at the heart of his much vaunted integrity. And that’s why EGists don’t like it.
