It’s still sexist and makes men look like the inferior sex – he is so special because he didn’t do what we all expect a man about to be married to do, cheat a few hours before he gets married.

I didn’t understand the joke the first time I saw it as it appears you also didn’t. I finally got it the second time around.
The guy WAS doing what men would be expected to do. He didn’t go out to his car to drive away, as all the relatives in the ad assumed. He went back to his car to get his condoms. They cheered too soon and that’s why the condom company suggested we keep our condoms in the car. Having them in the car, in this instance, saved his cheating butt.

I’m waiting for the commercial that shows a unscrupulous woman sabotaging a condom for her lover with a pin…… only to discover that HE WILL NOT USE HER CONDOM BUT RATHER HIS OWN (as Tom Leykis teaches young men).
