When will the church stand against feminism's abortion, divorce, false witness to police and courts in violence, single mothering, and right to be a whore?

Chuck Baldwin wrote "Dear Christian friend, do you mean to tell me that we are supposed to sit back and let men (even well-intentioned men) destroy our constitutional republic??"

Chuck has not correctly identified the enemy of the church. He thinks it is men.

Men do care little for gay rights, abortion rights, divorce. Feminists care about these rights.

The most American churches are already aligned to liberal politics and church goers already vote.

Churches ought to focus on being biblically functioning communities. I opine that getting out the vote is the least of their worries.

When will the church develop missions to restore justice for men in family, work, and in government courts?

i was raised in the ole time Gospel Churches. my steps haven't always been following His will, but He still was guiding me. with age comes wisdom and looking back reveals that everything i accomplished and all the moves i made were for His purposes.

my Spirit always felt most comfortable going to the Methodist Church... until one day there was this abomination sitting in the pastor's seat. luckily for me she said nothing but lead the prayer and introduced the play that was being presented. she tried to shake my hand going out the door but i ignored her and shook the hand of the Deacon on the other side. my last day going to the femchurch.

i wondered why there was no great debate. no pickets? no general outrage? some Churches rose up in protest, but it wasn't really covered in the fempress. most just succumbed. since that time it has been shown to me that this too was about the money. there are those Churches that did not allow this false teaching to grow. Mormons, Catholics and the remaining part of the Southern Baptists are some. i heard there was a giant split within the SB's. it appeals to me to believe they followed the Scripture about cutting off an offending part to save the good part.

but the feminist evil is still beating at the door. the remaining preachers & priests commonly ignore the threat. they preach every other sermon on how men should step up and take responsibility for what has happened to the family. how men should quit doing this or how bad men are doing this or not doing that. nothing bad about the women. don't offend them. somebody pass the plate. $$$$

this "pass the plate" mentality has closed their eyes to the deep infection afflicting them from within. an infection that has total female support. marriage. they blindly follow this once Holy gift from God, even as the men fall away. ignore all those scabs, the smell and sickness. hey, let's have a wedding. somebody pass the plate.

Kingdom Gospel is so often code for legalism, a club that for the life of me I cannot figure out. I have run the gamut from conservative to very conservative churches, been involved with prison ministry and addiction recovery ministry, and befriended the people who tend to populate those ministries. Legalism abounds in the Kindom Gospel, along with “Holy Ghost Worship” where entire churches have placed spirit manifestations every Sunday above the cross as the focus of the church.
I’d like to agree with you but cannot. I don’t have the answers but I can see the problems. And among these uber enthusiastic embraces of these two fallacies it is easy to see how evangelical feminism could grow unchecked. In fact strangely among some of these men, hard nosed and strong men who love God, we see some of the most controlling wives and women led churches hiding under the conservative façade.
If I may generalize these rural flannel shirted and Wrangler wearing men, (and I love these guys, please get that) they speak a strong doctrine of CERTAIN scripture, correctly, and get lost among it, all the while being led by their wives and women of the church.
Some of the most women centric churches are those that have NOT embraced the metrosexual way of worship, with contemporary love songs to Jesus and hand holding crying men. Those openly repel men. But in the small rural church where out of tune organs and pianos lead pious southern gospel hymns, and the obligatory large woman or two sing louder than needed, women run these churches with stronger iron fists than in the seeker churches.
It sounds so pure, so true, and so against the grain to chase leaders of old and Kingdom Gospel. If we could get that without women running the churches it could be great.
Until then, I feel its even dangerous to have the church in politics or the church will become a force of evangelical feminism. This really is bad because then many men of the church would inadvertently support even more misandry in government cleverly wrapped in twisted scripture.

Right you are, Chuck! More Christians need to get involved with politics any way possible.

I have noticed that Christians as a whole seem a pretty passive bunch.

That needs to change!

Amen.

Chuck,

Not all go along with the "seeker" churches. I for one believe in the old fashioned
true "kingdom gospel" message preached by some famous preachers. like: Luther,
Edwards, Whitfield, Wesley and a host of others. These men had the Fire of the
Holy Ghost in their lives and proclaimed it. As a result of those early clergymen who
stood for righteousness and freedom and nation was born. I too embrace the founding and "true" history of our nation and desire to see it turn back to its Christian roots, but the clergymen of today must proclaim without compromise the message of the "gospel" and proclaim it loud and long. I wish all churches would read the decleration of independence, and the constitution on a regular basis that we would know what was given to us by our soverign Lord. I personally am grieved by many churches, their emphasis and their watered down gospel.

I am convinced by over 35 years of bible study, researching church history, and examining a huge amount of overwhelming evidence, that the vast majority of churches have bought into a doctrine of complacency that will not allow them to stand up to the issues of today and this is the doctrine of the "secret" rapture of the church. With no regard to the historicist interpretation of scripture which was common during the time of the founding of this country. This has done much damage to the church and keeps church goers looking to "escape" rather than
stand up and deal with the issues of today.

Oh my Chuck, such a moving call to action in politics. I agree with your article sir, but it is no small matter that you do not mention the evangelical feminism that runs rampant in the church…and I do not mean the Methodists and Episcopalians, I mean your church sir, and mine.
To not mention the very building blocks of our society crumbling because you buy the garbage that you perceive and likely admonish men regularly is unacceptable. Men are being cut down one at a time, NOW! They are not LOSING their freedoms and leadership, it is LOST, and as you claim the whole Word of God, somehow you omit the one relationship that is described in DETAIL and how to do it and not to toss it….THE FAMILY.
Politics are important. The family is MORE important. It is self promoting for you to preach about getting involved and opposing the mean ole big bad government, but you know what is REALY SCARY? Your wife and the women leaders in your church after you tell them how the cow ate the cabbage. I dare you to preach a Biblically grounded message to the gals, with no relativism, no apology, and no weasel words.
It sounds so courageous to promote government activism, and wrap it in flawed scriptural justification that people use to avoid politics. But really, what is your risk? Will storm troopers shut your church?
But start speaking gender honestly and Biblically, speaking marriage and relational accountability, and guess what, your wife will tell you about her displeasure, and you will lose members and deal with angry letters. Could have that now could we?
Please sir, until you muster real courage and add family to your list of typical “Christian causes”, your credibility on abortion, homosexuality, and the war are absurd and hypocritical!
