Great Baseball Plays (Part IV)

For this week’s “Great Baseball Plays,” a regular weekend feature on my blog, we have a collection of plays from Omar Vizquel, the Gold Glove Cleveland/San Francisco shortstop.

I’ve never seen anything like the 4-6-5 double play Vizquel turns near the beginning of the first video, made more difficult by the fact that the runner is sliding into him as he throws.
