Outrage–Woman Leaves Her Toddler in Car for 8 Hours on Hot Day While at Work, Child Dies, She’s Not Charged
Could one find a clearer example of gender bias and the female sentencing discount than this? Brenda Nesselroad-Slaby is not being charged with any crime. Let’s review:
1) Brenda Nesselroad-Slaby left her toddler daughter in her car (in heat which reached 100 degrees) for eight hours while she worked.
2) According to police, the dead girl, Cecelia Nesselroad-Slaby, had been left in a hot car on at least three other occasions.
3) Security video shows that Brenda Nesselroad-Slaby was able to remember–twice–to unload the doughnuts she brought for meetings at her job, but nevertheless left her daughter in her car seat. The event is pictured.
4) According to press reports, she previously “had been told by a former administrator at her 5-year-old daughter’s preschool that the younger sister shouldn’t be left in the car by herself.”
5) Clermont County prosecutor Don White, who will not be prosecuting Brenda Nesselroad-Slaby, was asked whether the woman’s other daughter–the 5-year-old who she hasn’t killed yet–should be allowed to remain in the family’s home. He actually replied–with a straight face on national television–”I have no reason to believe that she won’t take care of this child.”

No Charges After Toddler Died In Car

BATAVIA, Ohio – No charges will be filed against a middle school administrator whose toddler daughter died last month when she was left in the back seat of her mother’s SUV during a heat wave, a prosecutor said Tuesday.
Leaving the child in the car for the work day was “a substantial lapse of due care” but did not meet the definition of reckless conduct necessary for prosecution, said Clermont County Prosecutor Don White.
Brenda Nesselroad-Slaby, 40, is assistant principal at Glen Este Middle School, about 20 miles east of Cincinnati. Authorities said she left her 2-year-old daughter, Cecilia, strapped into a car seat for about eight hours on Aug. 23 while she was at work at the school.
Temperatures outside reached about 100 degrees.

So the guy who leaves his toddler in the car for 2 hours goes to jail (rightly so) but his child lives……this chick kills her child and is not charged…..no double standard here move along.

The woman feels horribly guilty about this, and it will haunt her for the rest of her life. But she doesn’t feel guilty enough to do time for it. A stretch behind bars would do a lot to alleviate her guilt feelings.

Well, silence. Cool deep silence in the cool round cavern for just about 1.3 seconds. And then applause started on the right hand side of the room, and spread, and deepened, and now the room was swept with people applauding, and they would not stop for what I believe was five or six minutes. As they clapped they began to stand, in another wave from the right of the room to the center and the left.
But not everyone applauded. The president and first lady, seated within a few feet of Mother Teresa on the dais, were not applauding. Nor were the vice president and Mrs. Gore. They looked like seated statues at Madame Tussaud’s. They glistened in the lights and moved not a muscle, looking at the speaker in a determinedly semi-pleasant way.
I was applauding at my table, and most of my tablemates were standing, and I turned to look at what the friendly and intelligent woman to my right was doing. We had had a nice conversation before the speaking began. She was a lawyer, the wife of a member of the Clinton administration, a modern and attractive blond-haired woman in her late forties or early fifties.
She was not applauding. She was staring straight ahead, impassively, if you can call white lips and a stricken expression impassive.
Now, Mother Teresa is not perhaps schooled in the ways of world capitals and perhaps did not know that having said her piece and won the moment she was supposed to go back to the airier, less dramatic assertions on which we all agree.
Instead she said this:
[Abortion] is really a war against the child, and I hate the killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself. And if we accept that the mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another? How do we persuade a woman not to have an abortion? As always, we must persuade her with love . . . The father of that child, however, must also give until it hurts. By abortion, the mother does not learn to live, but kills even her own child to solve her problem. And by abortion, the father is taught that he does not have to take any responsibility at all for the child he has brought into that world. So that father is likely to put other women into the same trouble. So abortion just leads to more abortion.
Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love one another but to use any violence to get what they want. This is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion.

I actually met an indivdual that volenteered to work in Calcutta with the said “Nun”..
I asked him what she was like ?
He said and I kid you not…”she’s a bitch”, from then forward I do not bother to accept or acknowledge hypocrites like the stated Nun…

i must be missing something here. since when are women held to the same standards as men? not in my adult life. so now we are going to bitch about it? too little too late boys. wise up cause if you speak up your gonna get cut up. duh. go fishin and let ladies kill the little critters. the more liberal women kill their young, the fewer grow up to be …………….liberal voters! sounds good to me.

Bang on. When we cheapen life, or allow life to be cheapened, we cannot then marvel at how cheap life has become. Mothers killing their children is merely an extension of the abortion mentality. HOW CAN SOCIETY HAVE MANAGED TO CONVINCE WOMEN THAT LIFE IS NOT PRECIOUS? This is the one fact that is just beyond comprehension to me. This, more than anything else, sucks hope from me.

Man kills dog = heinous crime of national importance, woman kills husband and/or children = barely newsworthy non-problem, unless they can find a male or corporation to blame instead. America has gone completely insane, and the big-money media, Democrats, Republicans, and the judiciary are all on board with it.
At least women aren’t alllowed to kill another woman’s children and/or husband – yet – apparently because that would infringe on the other woman’s rights, because killing them is her “choice”. For example, if the woman who left the girl in the car (or drove in front of the train) was a babysitter, charges would be filed.
Why don’t we go ahead and amend the Constitution to reflect reality, that children and men are property of the female, and she can do with them as she pleases with impunity. Maybe it’s because they would have to come up with something other than women-as-victim in media, entertainment, and government, and that’s all they know how to do anymore.
