Bush says U.S. economy is strong

Sep. 20 – In his first news conference since August 9th, President Bush also urged that diplomacy run its course with Iran.

The President also made it clear that he is opposed to a request by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to tour Ground Zero when he comes to New York next week.
