Giuliani Is Everyone’s Worst Nightmare

Former New York City Mayor and Republican Presidential contender Rudy Giuliani said this week that he was “liberals’ worst nightmare.” However, the truth is, Rudy Giuliani is everyone’s worst nightmare.

That Rudy Giuliani is currently trying to cast himself as a conservative is beyond laughable–it is hilarious. This is a man who is unabashedly pro-abortion. He has been seen walking down Fifth Avenue with thousands of homosexuals demanding “gay rights.” He himself is a cross-dresser. He has had numerous marriages and only God knows how many sexual affairs. He has been one of the country’s most radical proponents of gun control. He made New York a sanctuary city for illegal aliens and is a strong proponent of amnesty for illegal aliens. As a prosecutor, his abuse of power and disregard for law are legendary. (See http://www.lewrockwell.com/roberts/roberts208.html )

In addition, Rudy Giuliani is a senior partner in the law firm that “represents CITGO, the oil company controlled by Venezuela’s anti-American and terrorist-supporting ruler Hugo Chavez.” Giuliani’s law firm also acts “as the exclusive legal counsel for Cintra, the Spanish firm that has been granted the right to operate a toll road in the Trans-Texas Corridor (TTC) project.”

(Please read Cliff Kincaid’s entire column for more on Giuliani’s shady and untoward activities at http://www.newswithviews.com/Kincaid/cliff149.htm )

Yes, my friends, the umbilical cord connecting the SPP, NAFTA Superhighway and burgeoning North American Union is also connected to Rudy Giuliani.

Yet, Rudy Giuliani wants people to believe that he is “liberals’ worst nightmare”? Who is he kidding? Giuliani is a liberal. Actually, Rudy Giuliani is worse than a liberal. He is a liberal that likes to hurt people. I tell you the truth, Rudy Giuliani scares me far more than Hillary Clinton does. Far more. I’ll say it right here: if the 2008 Presidential election comes down to Hillary vs. Giuliani, Hillary is the “lesser of two evils.” That’s how bad Giuliani is.

Any Christian who would vote for Rudy Giuliani needs to check out his or her salvation. And before a conservative could vote for Giuliani, he would have to surrender every conviction and principle he ever held.

As for the Republican Party, if it nominates Rudy Giuliani as its Presidential candidate next year, conservatism will be forever vanquished from the Party. George W. Bush has already just about destroyed conservatism within the GOP. A Giuliani nomination would finish the job.

Rudy Giuliani likes to paint himself as being tough on terrorism. The truth is, Rudy Giuliani is a warmonger. A Giuliani Presidency would mean an expansion of military interventionism and preemptive war like you can’t imagine. One can call me what one wants, but I am warning the American people, just as Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Martin Niemoller tried to warn the German people about Hitler: Rudy Giuliani is a monster. Anyone who is paying attention knows this is true.

For example, just two days ago, Giuliani urged expanding NATO to include Australia, India, Israel, Japan, and Singapore, along with “a whole group of others that we could put on that list.” As originally designed, NATO’s purpose was to counterbalance the former Soviet Union’s influence in Europe. However, Giuliani wants to expand NATO into a “global body.” He also said he wants to “redouble” the war in Afghanistan. He further said the U.S. should consider the possibility of a “large war with a nation state.” So, could Giuliani be planning a preemptive “large war” with other countries? One can only wonder.

Furthermore, if anyone thinks that George W. Bush is obsessed with domestic spying and surveillance, just wait until Giuliani becomes President. You can count on him pressing his anti-Fourth Amendment and anti-Second Amendment agendas to the nth degree through all sorts of executive orders and signing statements.

You can also expect amnesty for illegal aliens to be quickly achieved under a Giuliani administration, along with the completion of the North American Union and NAFTA Superhighway. Of course, this will also be the case if Hillary is elected President, except that if Hillary is leading the charge, many will oppose it; whereas if Giuliani leads the charge, they won’t.

This brings up the other thing that makes a Giuliani Presidency so dangerous: the total lack of resistance that rank-and-file conservatives (including Christians) have demonstrated when Republicans control the White House. Absent resistance from his own party and from grassroots conservatives, a Giuliani administration would be left free to perpetrate radical fascist and imperialistic policies completely unfettered.

Everything about Rudy Giuliani smacks of fraud, indecency, greed, and power-lust. Even the wave of 9/11, which Giuliani is riding to the Presidential election, is fraught with duplicity. In fact, New York City firefighters are so fearful their former mayor might succeed in his quest to become President that they came out against his candidacy in a dramatic video. I urge all my readers to watch this moving video presentation. See it at http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/story?id=3367581&page=1

Yes, Rudy Giuliani is a nightmare all right. But not just for liberals. He is a nightmare for conservatives, Christians, independents, constitutionalists, and for people the world over. Furthermore, Rudy Giuliani is a threat to freedom, constitutional government, the rule of law, traditional morality, and to national sovereignty and independence. As I said, Rudy Giuliani is everyone’s worst nightmare.

What a crock this opinion piece is, and irresponsible to boot. Those are some pretty wild speculations and extrapolations regarding what Giuliani might or might not do as president. None of us can predict with certainty what any candidate will do as president, we can only guess. But the guesses in this article are hilarious in their extremity, and yet these wild speculations are asserted as if they were facts.

As for “warmongering” – maybe you haven’t noticed this yet, but militant Islam is an imminent global threat, and at least as dangerous as Hitler was in the 1930’s. Just as then, there are people who want to bury their heads in the sand and pretend that if they just don’t pay attention, then it might go away. But it won’t go away, just as Hitler didn’t go away. All that was accomplished by denying the looming danger was that it was allowed to gather strength; and that is exactly what militant Islam is doing today. Islamic fascists have made no secret of their ultimate goal: global Islamic domination, a world under Islamic law. They have also made no secret of the fact that they will stop at nothing in their pursuit of that — the deliberate killing of innocents, the infliction of torture and mutilation and brutality — all is fair game in the demented minds of religious extremists. And they’re far more dangerous than Hitler, because it’s only a matter of time before they acquire nuclear weapons; and they will have no hesitancy in using them. Unlike the Soviet Union, which was deterred by fear of American retaliation, the militant Muslims feel ultimately invincible, so convinced as they are that Allah is on their side and that they will ultimately prevail; and in the meantime if they are killed in jihad, they are assured paradise. So they feel they have nothing to lose in using the most extreme measures they can get their hands on, against America and our allies. There is no bigger issue of our time, and I cannot take any leader seriously who does not recognize that militant Islam must be permanently and decisively crushed, and that it is urgent that we start now. Rudy Giuliani seems to be the candidate who takes the war on terrorism most seriously, and he also seems tough enough to handle it.

In addition, I like his stance on most other issues as well. While militant Islam may be the most urgent threat, environmental issues are not far behind; and the health of our planet is far and away the most important long-term issue. (Yes, I voted for Al Gore.)

What I want is a president with the following positions on the issues: Very tough on Islamic terrorism, and strong on homeland security and national defense; very tough on crime; a strong stance in favor of protecting wilderness and the environment; willingness to confront the looming threat of global warming; fiscally responsible; moderate on gun control (meaning that he supports the right to bear arms, but favors legislation to keep assault rifles out of the hands of nutcases); generally in favor of abortion rights; moderate on gay rights (meaning, in favor of gay civil unions, but opposed to gay marriage); moderate on illegal immigration; moderate on social welfare issues. I am strongly in favor of our basic civil liberties such as freedom of religion and freedom of speech; but I fully realize that we cannot successfully win a domestic fight against terrorism while crippling the FBI and CIA and preventing them from gathering information on possible terrorist activities. If we are unwilling to sacrifice any of our privacy or personal convenience for the sake of fighting terrorism, then this society could descend into chaos as domestic terrorism spreads; and then all our rights will be forfeit. (However, “terrorism” should be so defined as to include only real violence and harm to people, or the real threat of that.Groups that specifically refrain from actual violence on ideological grounds — such as the Animal Liberation Front or ecological groups that engage only in vandalism or sabotage of property — are not “terrorists” by any reasonable definition.) I would also like a candidate who favors a large investment into real scientific research, as opposed to these silly “send a man to Mars” schemes. Any investment in science is returned manyfold in technology and improvements to our quality of life. More importantly, learning about the universe is part of our unique purpose and destiny as humankind.

So far, it looks like Rudy Giuliano is my best choice for president. He seems to support most of the positions I listed above, so he has my support. The only thing I can imagine that I’d like better at this point would be a Giuliano/Schwarzenegger ticket. Unfortunately, Arnold Schwarzenegger can’t even run as a vice presidential candidate until the unfair prohibition against foreign-born presidents is removed from our law books. But both of these men are bold and independent thinkers who dare to take a stand on the issues, regardless of how the rest of their political party is inclined. And that kind of courage and integrity wins my respect. I could not care less how they conduct their personal lives or marriages. I admired Bill Clinton, no matter whom he was or was not having an affair with. John Kennedy had affairs, too. So what? I don’t think those personal matters are any of our business, and impeaching Clinton for that was a total farce. As far as I can tell, Mr. Giuliani and his wife of several years are very happy together. But in any case, his marriages are not really any concern of mine. I want someone as president who can boldly lead and defend this nation. In the end, that’s all that really matters. And I believe Rudy Giuliano is that man.

The author of this article is right about one thing, though: Mr. Giuliani probably does not hold much appeal for people who are stuck on either the extreme liberal end of the political spectrum, or those who are stuck on the extreme conservative end. But those of us who are not stuck on either of those two extremes can perceive a smart, bold, independent thinker in Mr.Giuliani. And it’s about time for an American leader like that.

Dee, Baldwin is a DailyKos-type troll who recently said I couldn’t be a Christian because I didn’t agree with him (on something, I don’t remember what, but it was something silly). Don’t take him seriously. No one else does.

Oh, and Dee? Your politics are exactly the opposite of mine. Bill Clinton was a horror, and was the exact opposite of JFK when it comes to politics. You can’t compare the two at all, except for the philandering. BC’s political beliefs were nonexistent – he would stick his finger in the wind (I hope it was his finger) and his belief-of-the-day would be revealed.

The only way that I will vote for Rudy is to keep from voting for a Democrat.
