Support Shared Parenting Advocate Stuart Meltzer for Nassau County Family Court Judge

Shared parenting advocate Stuart Meltzer, Esq. (pictured) is running for Nassau County Family Court Judge in the November 6 election. Meltzer says:

“The best interests of children are being forgotten in Family Court. Parents are being kept in court unnecessarily and decisions are oftentimes unfair to our children. I am the only truly independent candidate. If you want a judge who owes his allegiance to our families and children, not a particular party, you should vote for me.

“As a result of my over 18 years experience in the Family, Matrimonial and Criminal Courts in the New York area, I have witnessed a steady decline in Equal Protection and Due Process rights afforded to litigants. Most disturbing is the fact that those people who have the smallest voice and least amount of power in our society, our children, are losing most. Thus, I view as most important, based in law and forensic study, our children’s right to liberal access to both a father and mother.”

Meltzer is looking for volunteers in the greater New York City area, as well as donors. Contact his campaign at smeltzer@equalparentingparty.com or by phone at 718-532-4300 or 917 698 8784. Donations can be sent to The Friends Of Stuart Meltzer Campaign,  32 Court St., Suite 1408, Brooklyn, NY 11201.

Mr. Meltzer seems like a nice enough fellow, but what is it that he will do as a judge that will be any different than the rest of the judges? Is there any place where I may find a list of his campaign promises or perhaps his plan of action complete with what he sees as the problems and the solutions?

American voters are conditioned to lacing their boots high when anybody campaigns for office. What will Mr. Meltzer do to fix these problems and how?

I personally met Stu just last night at a meeting to help support his election. A few things you should know. Stu is an attorney and predominantly handled criminal cases. Just recently he himself ended up in family court in NY and quickly came to the realization that the criminal court system is considerably more constitutional and considerably less corrupt. He clearly believes that this is a horrible thing and wishes to be a judge to correct the corruptness in his court room. Yes it is a small step but we need to replace bad judges one at a time. It is a small but necessary step.

Stu has a website though it is still a work in progress:

He spoke passionately about the problem last night and it was clear that he had many ideas as to why judgeships were an important step. One – they clearly have huge descretion and their descretion becomes law over time. He intends to make much fair decissions – pushing the envelope and backing it with sound constitutional arguements. He will also be in the position to prosecute for perjury – something we all know feminist judges avoid to the extend of obsession.

Please support this guy – he is clearly out to tip the scales of justice back to equality.

  • Fighting for Justice

As someone who has worked with and supported Stuart Meltzer for over 15 years, I can honestly say that you will not find anyone who will fight harder for Justice. Stu is a very passionate man who truly beleives it is in the best interest of children to have both parents in their lives.
There is so much abuse and gender bias in this system today and all Stuart is looking to do is to create a balance. He is trying to do what is best for children and I beleive that is a strong enough platform in itself.
