Now that "Prize" is akin to a bumper sticker bragging about the really important school your kids go to. May seem great to the owner, but it's just bragging/gloating, to everyone else. Groomed to be President and then losing it legitimately by a handful of votes was more than he could bear. Throw in the problems he has had with at least one of his sons is utter agony for someone who must always appear to be a messiah or savior as Mr Strange says. Just remember that embarassing kiss with his wife at the 2000 Convention that was supposed to prove...what? that he was a fantastic husband and lover? What it made me do was cringe at the show biz aura around the whole thing. Now he has taken over the global warming fisaco as a spring-board back it the public's attention. He is acting like a man who will take anything to restore him to his in-his-view rightful place in the public arena. Al Gore is one of the pathetic and tragic figures of our times.
