I noticed the media turning the men's issue into a question about "white men" - playing the race card.

One thing to ask these people is:

"Do you care about the women's rights movement?". If the aide says "yes". Then ask "Do you care abot the "men's rights movement"? They will hem and haw...even or especially if they are Republicans!

If they say "Yes, we care about men's rights"...then ask them what have they done for men lately? Ask them why we now need background checks to say hello to women (IMBRA). Ask them what men's rights groups they have met with, and what blogs they keep track of.

Actually, someone here should post on FreeRepublic.com about the $430 Million. That will be an active topic that will not be deleted. What would be deleted is if you concentrate on IMBRA...because they the female conservatives there think it is unpatriotic to date a non-American...but are otherwise non-feminist.

Regarding calling the Senators offices....what is really important there is not that any senator will have a pair or that the female legislative aides will even let the senators know what we were trying to say:

What is critically important is establishing that none of us, in particular, are "the only ones who called us on this matter".

When I called Senator Norm Coleman's office two nights ago, the young man there not only avoided having any opinion on feminism and men's rights (he did not know there was a men's rights movement and did not seem to care). Then he almost chided me by saying "You are the only one who ever called on the subject"...of Coleman possibly voting for a feminist law!

He could have been lying because a man in Minnesota had just emailed me saying that Norm Coleman was sympathetic to men's rights...but I think the person who was lying was the man who told me that Norm Coleman was sympathetic.

What I need is to be able to document that I warned particular Senators not to vote for the SJC Act on Monday, but to postpone them until after Senate Hearings are held where men will have their say...and these warnings were backed up by a number of phone calls from particular other individuals.

Please call the below people so at least they will have a feeling that I am not a lone kook who is the only man in American who might have a problem with the $430 Million going to these "anti-violence" programs:

I have been too busy to explore other avenues of expression besides recently posting on MND. Is there a veteran's forum I can consider? FreeRepublic.com has been taken over by feminists.

Meanwhile, I need to see you write that you called Senator Hagel's office and Senator Coleman's office.

You did get my email about that, correct? I broadcast emailed 120 people yesterday while only being able to broadcast email 15 Senate offices today.

Jim, excellent letter, expresses youre case perfectly!!

But as you say, in this climate of "group think" anti-male hysteria...This will most likelly fall on deaf ears!!

But you being a veteran have the power to reach out to other veterans...
Similar to I as a student can reach out to other students!!
