Ann Coulter may be a lightning rod, but she's a good one. Now that her sixth book is racing toward number one, I doubt whether she cares what she's called. She's writing her own ticket, and it's a very well-paying ticket.

And even though the left keeps calling her a lunatic (couldn't care less about that, like it even) they can't argue with her because she's right about them (they're insane, and they hate God). They can only argue with her style. In other words, she wins the argument.

With James Carville, and the other screaming loonies on their side, why should we give an inch on this? We should keep hammering on them like they do us, but the current crop of repubs are spineless, so it won't happen. In a civilized world being civilized will get you points, but not in this Reid/Pelosi world. Only screaming louder will get you heard.

I agree with the "Hooray for Laura" part, and I think she will do well on the little screen. But I think (hope) you are wrong about Michelle, and I would not put her in the same category as Anne Coulter. The problem with Anne is that the libs cannot tell when she is pulling their chain, and they take everything she says literally. By doing that, they get ammunition from Coulter, which they use to paint all conservatives as raving lunatics. Michelle is a different story. Yes, she is "spunky" and does not allow liberal b.s. to go unchallenged. But she does not do it in an offensive manner. When you listen to the absolute garbage coming out of Alan Colmes' mouth (every Colmes question starts with "Don't you agree that....") it amazes me that Michelle can stay on the rational, fact-based track as well as she does. Maybe she could tone it down once in a while, but she is not a firebrand like Anne Coulter.

I could be wrong and you could be right, but I hope not. I hope there is room on Fox for both Michelle and Laura -- and they can get rid of Geraldo!
