(November 14, 2007) Maria Sanchez, former KFIer, has moved from doing mornings at KKZZ, 1590AM “The Connection,†to afternoon drive at the premier news/talk station in Ventura County, KVTA, 1520AM. “I’m loving it,†enthused Maria just before she started her second day at KVTA. She’s thrilled “to go to an established news/talk station with a larger listener base, streaming on the Net, better signal, and people who get Talk radio and know what they’re getting. At The Connection we were kinda inventing the wheel. They didn’t know what to expect. And there are a lot who were listening to me at The Connection and they are following me to KVTA. We were able to give the listeners a three-day heads up that I was moving, plus the Web site is directing people to KVTA.â€Â
