She has a propensity always to find fault. Does it serve an evolutionary purpose? It kills love.

Evolutionary purpose? Thing is, we didn’t evolve in the modern world. But I’m sure it got the man out of their caves to pursue manly endeavors like hunting and exploration. Always good to see the men come home with some meat, report the territory seems safe, and to shoo away the tigers. With short life spans and very high mortality rates, survival of the clan / species depended on women being pregnant most of their adult lives, while continuing to work. This may help explain the compulsive behavior that is so typical of women, meeting short term concerns – immediate gratification needs for the sake of themselves and their children; in contrast with the assessment, problem solving, planning and management behavior of men who must deal with larger territorial issues, make decisions about moving the clan, or settling, etc.
