A Feminized American Media is Incapable of Telling the Truth

By Jim Peterson

I have read “Arrogance” and “Bias”, but the Men’s Rights Movement has some very fresh evidence of outright lying in the mainstream media (MSM). The following is only the tip of the iceberg of outright lying and antagonism toward Men’s Rights. I only refer to experiences I have had with so-called “journalists” regarding the feminist IMBRA law that forces American men to be background checked before being allowed to say hello to women via dating websites:

1) Andrew Marton, Senior Arts Writer of the Dallas-Fort Worth Star Telegram, spent months talking with the owners of dating agencies from August to November of this year. He was told many times that the agencies were NOT “marriage brokers” and the IMBRA law was highly controversial as it is unconstitutional. Yet he wrote a story at http://www.star-telegram.com/600/story/297522.html that was all about radical victim feminism. His most egregious lie was the one about how women who come to America on fiance visas somehow don’t have 90 days to see what kind of life their fiance leads in the USA and maybe back out and go home before the marriage takes place if they want to.

I directly asked Andrew on the phone if he was concerned about people keeping their Constitutional right to say hello to others. He said “Yes, I am very much concerned…I did not know about this aspect of the law…you must admit that this women’s group Tahirih Justice Center has very smart and persuasive people”. He then asked that we communicate by email instead of phone. I then called all his victims (dating site owners).

It turned out that Andrew was lying because he had been told dozens of times about the other side of his story. Somehow his brain would not allow himself to perceive that he was lying. He had known all about how IMBRA was unconstitutional, but chose to ignore even the controversy.

Professional journalists may wish to ask Andrew why he chose to be unprofessional in this case:

Earlier this year, Dimitri Vassilaros, the big-time libertarian columnist for the supposedly conservative (neocon) Pittsburgh Tribune, called me and spoke for hours about IMBRA and wrote a big article that took him weeks to research. The article he wrote condemned IMBRA and condemned Congress for having passed it.

But he then told me that his editors had told him that this article must never be published! He was very disappointed and he half-agreed with me that someone should hire him onto an “honest newspaper” that would allow him to print the truth…but 8 months later he is still working for the Pittsburgh Tribune and he recently lied to someone who wrote to him about the IMBRA story spiking by saying “Jim Peterson is only disappointed that things did not work out as he wanted”.

Dimitri Vassilaros is apparently prepared to outright deny that his bosses told him that he was not allowed to write about IMBRA. Ask him yourself if you are near a phone now:

dvassilaros@tribweb.com

3) Then there is Eduardo Porter of the New York Times. He wrote a huge article condeming IMBRA and praising international marriages in October 2006. But his editors completely rewrote the article to say the complete opposite.

Eduardo was upset about the editorial change to his article and he apologized in writing to his victims (the engaged couple he interviewed). These victims retain all the proof that he apologized in writing, saying that his editors had completely rewritten the story.

Any professional journalist can ask Eduardo and his editors about this. The victims have his email apologizing for the action of his editors. Anyone can ask Eduardo why he is still working for the NYTimes when he could have chosen to retain his honor by taking a better paying job in the marketing department of some corporation that honestly sells a specific product other than Marxist Feminism:

All of the above American “men,” each of whom told me personally that they believe IMBRA violates rights, could have spoken out against their editors and/or found better paying jobs elsewhere. None chose to do so.

In all three cases, American “males” who clearly knew they were involved in pushing an unfair agenda, chose to forgo higher paying jobs in order to act as cogs in the wheel of media persecution of better men than themselves. To take the low pay of a journalist to do this, one has to really want to grovel to feminists.

Compare this weak-kneed betrayal of their own gender with the actions of two female MSM journalists over the past year:

Sara Olkon of the Chicago Tribune and Nicole Shapiro of the Seattle Weekly both set out to do articles on IMBRA, but after seeing that they could be honest only by condemning IMBRA and recognizing that international dating sites were no worse than Match.com as a place for two people to meet, they or their bosses decided not to do any story at all. Coming from left wing main stream media newspapers, I consider this to have been an act of journalistic integrity.

It is a shame to be from a society where “journalistic integrity” can be defined as “refraining from doing hit pieces on men”.

Meanwhile, Neil Cavuto of Fox News is the only MSM journalist allowing Men’s Rights Issues to be discussed. I am impressed that he has let Marc Rudov on television to condemn the unconstitutional Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) two weeks in a row. Needless to say, the ratings go up at Fox News when Marc Rudov mentions men’s rights.

Neil Cavuto, the only journalist to allow Men’s Rights to be mentioned in the MSM, even went so far as to tell Ron Paul in the past few days that he is a lot like Ronald Reagan:

I wrote this from St. Petersburg, Russia where demonstrators who support the American MSM are being silenced. I hate to say it but Putin just gave a very reasonable speech about why he feels the western MSM has a soul destroying agenda that will not benefit the Russian people.

There is something about being willing to take low journalist pay in order to “change the world” as some cog in a wheel…that causes worms to betray their fellow men in the manner above described.

I just checked and it seems that Kristin Campbell of the Dallas Fort Worth Star-Telegram is further propagandizing Andrew Marton’s article:

This is outrageous because these people were deluged with detailed emails after their hit piece “article” came out, showing the serious need for corrections to be made.

Neil Cavuto is a brilliant host. He knows the issues well enough to ask good questions. And he picked two individuals who know their side of the story very well. The rest is up to the guests, and for the audience to sort out. I would say that Marc is winning 90% of these debates because Lis has no foundation for her opinions and goes into shrill chatter in hopes to avoid the issues.

The most brilliant part about this segment is that Neil Cavuto has established something that one day will catch on with the rest of the media, that is when they get tired of losing readership. Most folks are not stupid. By playing to feminists, much of the MSM is driving away the mainstream — who knows darn well the the feminist view is not the real deal.

I am Glen J Hendersson, this article by Andrew Marton was about me and my ex-wife Natasha (nataliya Yamayeva). I would not speak to him because I am in litigation over the custody of my 6 year son and was advised not to talk to him (by my lawyer). Let me just this. WITH andrew marton’s story you could FERTILIZE
almost every lawn in Ft. Worth. I was slugged by this woman on several occasions,
cursed constantly in 2 languages. She even told my employer I was wanted by the police to get me fired. She continues to lie, and a good part of this is her severe abuse of “BRANDY”.
I know alot of men married to foriegn women and they have good marriages. This is the person not the “mail-order” bride problem. I just had a severe laps in judgement , because I felt sorry for her extreme poverty. I had made up my mind not to bring her to the USA, but she cried and begged, and I thought well it could work, but was very un-sure of her reasons for wanting to marry me.

Let’s not forget the MSM’s refusal to tell the story of the F4J crew that hijacked the Lincoln Memorial in Aug. Also we have the Roe v Wade for men lawsuit that was touched ONLY by USA Today, and that was to let their token civil rights dudette bash the suit. How many of you are convinced that your letters and emails about gender issues actually reach the intended Legislator? If you received a generic reply, don’t be so sure.
Feminists don’t just censor the MSM.

Several years ago I learned of two children who CPS took from their parents and put in foster care (for bogus reasons). The parents recovered the children from CPS by Court Order. CPS returned the children with large dog bites to the face. THe children had received no medical care while in CPS custody. The Doctor said one of the children came within a few days of having infection to the eyes and possibly blindness. CPS was absolutely neglectful of these children. I approached the newspaper which refused to run the story. I was flabbergasted. The public needed to know how badly CPS was managing the children entrusted to it. Of course, if any parent treated a child like this, CPS would crucify the parent — possibly criminal charges. Thew newspaper wouldn’t touch the story.

In fairness to Nina Shapiro and the Seattle Weekly I must assert that Nina Shapiro wrote an almost spot on article about domestic violence practice. Yes the entire practice is DESIGNED to break up families over even minor matters, should ANYONE, the husband, wife, child, or next door neighbor tired of the racket call the authorities. The only thing missing in Shapiro’s article is that sometimes the perpetrator of the violence is the woman.

But it is a crack in the MSM Monolith.

    Robert Stevens Says:

Anyone with half a brain knows not to believe the MSM, they always…. always feminize and PO litically CO rrectize the stories. They have to! Their overlords, who have their own agenda, would put them in the street if they told the truth.
You have to to understand the underlying problem. It is simple really. The government wants total power, to be able to do any damn thing they want to.
One of the first things a government that is turning totalitarian does, is, get control of the media and the feminist and liberal are their tools for this.
People are not stupid, but if they are lied to, often enough and skillfully enough, they can be influenced. Even to the point they will be unable to distinguish between the truth and a lie. You will not be able to “correct” them. It just like living in communism all your life and someone tells you communism is evil. You won’t believe it, no matter how much evidence is presented to confirm that statement. You have become too comfortable with communism being ok!
Thank God for the internet and the inability, at least for now, of the government to control it. Be warned as the government gets more and more communistic acting, the more of a threat they will become. It will get to the point you will risk jail or worse…God forbid, if you speak up. But never stop speaking up, better to die on you feet than live on your knees.
The final battle will not be over family law, that is just a symptom. No, the citizens will either be bringing the “out of control government servants” back under control or have to take up arms and fire the bastards by force.
Once we get rid of the “communist” type government and go back to the constitution and ” real law” . The problems relating to the family courts will go away. There will be no more censorship and no more PO liticall CO rrectness to have to worry about anymore. Women will “grow up” socially, legally and morally and start understanding what equality really means. WE will once again have a “System of Law” ie one based on right, wrong and everyone is truelly equal.

The men’s movement is making in-roads. The power of the internet is reshaping mass media-to our eventual favor:

    Feminists Abuse Domestic Violence Laws

    http://www.townhall.com/columnists/PhyllisSchlafly/2007/11/26/feminists_abuse_domestic_violence_laws

“Radical feminists have devised a scheme to cash in on the flow of taxpayer money in a big way. Their good buddy, Sen. Joseph Biden, D-Del., has just introduced Senate Bill 2279, called the International Violence Against Women Act.”

The Comments are also quite good and encouraging-further evidence that the word is getting out.
