Since it was pouring rain here all day and into the night, I was reminded of this video of R & B singer Brook Benton doing his classic “Rainy Night in Georgia” live in 1982. I traveled a lot in my late teens and early 20s, and Benton’s song’s strong imagery captures some of the feelings one gets when alone on the road.
