Perhaps Roger, but as you say, the standard includes the issue of whether the company did enough to resolve it. It is the law itself that envisions men being fired for being unattractive. No one with an ounce of common sense does not understand that actions resulting in the possibility of making the company look bad lead to problems for an employee. This is another example of modern feminist law that holds men accountable for what is beyond their control; and "empowers women" to cause trouble on a whim with complete immunity.

Having worked in a law office, I can tell you that the legal standard for "hostile work environment" is much higher than a man asking a woman out for lunch and taking no for an answer. It has to be so pervasive that it changes the "terms and conditions of employment" AND that the corporate management did not do enough to resolve it.

That is a high standard that if not met after discovery and depositions, will result in dismissal on summary judgment an affirmation of such dsmissal on appeal.

You see, unlike mere men, corporations and government agency employers are treated by the courts like "persons" with "rights".

However, to save the cost of lawsuits, corporate management itself, trained in feminazi theory at the universities (most management personnel, even at Boeing, did not major in engineering or some other field requiring "common sense"), reduces the standard for sexual harassment to what the Saturday Night Live skit so humorously illustrates.

Of course we all know that all a woman has to do to get rid of a pesky man is utter the magic word:

commitment.

Women get $2.85 million of money for accusing against men.

"It is hard to believe that we live in a society where allegations have enough clout to hold a wonderful and well respected university hostage." Barnett said

glenn, i tell ya, your preaching to the choir. you must get a national platform if you ever hope to have an impact. marc rudov gets his message out on foxnews. sometimes he hits a home run, sometimes he doesn't but at least there is dialog. mnd readers (me included), see this stuff but who else? women must be confronted in a public venue so that all can see their agendas. i know you are in california, but that leaves a whole lot of the good old usa without a voice. don't you have pull? i would bet that not 1/2 of 1 percent of women have heard of you. we need you out there front and center. if rudov can get a foothold at fox and beck can get on cnn(for gods sake), it would be good to see you trying to go in that direction. thats my opinion. maybe your wife can help?

This skit can be applied in many areas of government laws for women. For example in Violence Against Women Act, the woman arbitrarily picks which situation she feels afraid, then the police throw the man in jail. Another example on a date when the woman has second thoughts about drunken sex with a man, she can accuse of him of rape. The police and attorney general are only happy to serve and protect women. The consequence is an innocent man may be charged with a crime.
