Philadelphia Daily News Reporter Dana DiFilippo–When Women Harm Men, It’s Funny

2007-12-15
By

As I’ve noted on many occasions, female violence against men is not treated seriously, and is often considered funny. Philadelphia Daily News reporter Dana DiFilippo’s article A GENITAL REMINDER (5/18/06) from last year is a good example. DiFilippo wrote:

“With their wedding anniversary less than two weeks away, Howard Randolph was thinking romance. He hoped to take his wife, Monica, out for an intimate dinner and maybe an oldies-but-goodies show to celebrate 11 years of matrimony.

“But yesterday, his mind was more on divorce and jail for his wife after she almost became Philadelphia’s own Lorena Bobbitt.

“Monica Randolph didn’t need a kitchen knife. She took matters into her own hands.

“The Nicetown man said he had been sleeping peacefully in the couple’s bed Tuesday night when his wife pounced on him without warning, grabbed his groin, dug her manicured fingernails in and flayed him, leaving his gore-slicked gonads dangling much lower than normal.

“‘She didn’t use no weapon – this was just sheer brute strength and fingernails. She grabbed me by my [scrotum] and ripped it apart with her bare hands,’ Randolph said yesterday from his hospital bed at Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was in stable condition with stitched and bandaged genitals…

“A neighbor who heard the commotion also called police, who took Monica Randolph into custody and charged her with aggravated assault and related offenses.

“Talk about a strict violation of the penal code…

“Monica Randolph told arresting officers that she had attacked her husband because he was cheating on her. But her husband denied having any affairs. He remains mystified as to his wife’s motive and demanded that she receive a stiff punishment…

“News of the genital mangling aroused a mixture of horrified gasps and guilty giggles in the Randolphs’ neighborhood, where few knew the couple who had moved into the brick rowhouse on Pulaski Avenue near Bouvier Street in April.

“Meanwhile, neighbors were left to speculate on explanations for the attack.

“‘She got to be crazy,’ said Dionne Martin, 18, who basked in the spring sunshine on friend Rochelle Odd’s porch steps.

“Odd, 21, agreed: ‘That woman was crazy, but I’m on her side. I don’t think no guy deserves to have his balls ripped off. But she’s got to be deep in love – that’s what would make a woman do this. If they was together all those years and he cheated on her, she wanted him to feel what she was feeling. There’s a lesson to be learned here: Don’t cheat on your woman.’”

No mention of the phrase “domestic violence.” And Rochelle Odd’s comment? Talk about a vindictive woman. Does this mean a man has the right to beat his girlfriend up if she cheats on him? I guess so.

And while our opponents fall all over themselves to deny that there is such a thing as Parental Alienation Syndrome, is there any doubt that vindictive women like this would attempt to alienate their children from their children’s fathers?

Families Against Confiscatory Child Support (FACCS)
FACCS is the national voice for fair and reasonable child support. FACCS believes all parents have an obligation to support their children financially.  However, in high income cases, state and federal laws often result in excessive awards that are effectively alimony in disguise and have little to do with supporting children. Huge child support awards lead to protracted custody disputes, undermines co-parenting, and leaves children worse off financially.www.faccsonline.org / contact@faccsonline.org

Sometme ago, I saw a video on YouTube of Kristin Chenoweth performing a song called “If You Hadn’t(But you Did)”,about a woman who kills her husband and gleefully sings and dances over the dead body. I posted a response dissagreeing with the video’s comic tone, pointing out that if the genders were reversed, there would be a great outcry from women’s groups citing violence against women. The answers I received were along the lines of ‘lighten up, its only a song’ and ‘get a life’ To my way of thinking, this is another example of this society’s attitude towards women’s violence against men.

Great Point Glen!! Yes one does not have to re invent a wheel to extrapolate how parental alienation can be present and active against a parent’s and thier child. Societal entitlement! Among other digressions form a healthy human being!

Tell it to Randy Burton, Attorney and Founder of a group one would think would have a child’s best interests in mind, Justice for Children, but trajically this group too is smitten with addictive processes that protect batterers. I await the reason why…to be revealed at a later date.

“It would be assumed that if she cheated she had good reason to, that it was somehow his fault.

    Fidelity

For her, this is the SINGLE, MOST VITALLY important and CRUCIAL quality in a relationship.

If she has a ‘love affair’ with a ‘charismatic’ ‘other man’ who has ‘swept her off her feet’, whilst she is in a ‘relationship’, it is ONLY because she ‘had to’.

    ‘For Love’.

Her partner, obviously, had been ‘neglectful’ or ‘abusive’ or ‘heartless’ or ‘unappreciative’ or ‘taken her for granted’.

If he is ‘getting his end away’ with ‘a bit on the side’ its because ‘he’s a cheating bastard’ who ‘can’t keep his hands off’ ‘that slut’/’tart’.

Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood

“Before He Cheats” tells the story of a woman taking revenge on her potentially unfaithful boyfriend. She imagines him at a bar flirting with a “bleach-blond” girl, and eventually “getting lucky” with her. She vandalizes his car by keying it, carving her name into his leather interior, smashing the headlights with a baseball bat, and slashing the tires. She hopes that this will make him “think before he cheats.”

    Won:
The 2007 People’s Choice Award for Favorite Country Song
The 2007 CMT Music Awards for “Female Video of the Year” and “Video of the Year”
The 2007 Academy of Country Music Award for “Video of the Year”
The 2007 Country Music Association Award for “Single of the Year”

I don’t think he actually cheated on her. Someone told me about the song and said she did the damage just in case he ever did cheat on her. I am not sure about that but it’s worth finding the lyrics if it’s true.

True or not, any man trashing his wife’s car “just in case” or even if she cheated would be targeted as an asshole deserving of time in jail. It would be assumed that if she cheated she had good reason to, that it was somehow his fault.

If any man was ripping his wife or girl friends genitals for cheating he would be treated properly by men and women and given years in prison. So, why is it a joke when male sexual organs are treated that way? If you “get it” about the vagina monologues, and about 40 years of male bashing, even as you see other countries teaching pride in a male sexual organ (Japan, monster floats of ererct penises, Indian Art?) then you see we have been programmed to react as if one gender was holy and the other scum. Consider the decades of put downs of males and male sexuality in America, then you understand. Older women have sex with boys the boys are enhanced, but older men defile young women when they use their disgusting male bodies to get pleasure from women’s beautiful male bodies. Buy into that and you can see why male suffering or defiling male bodies is a joke to most.

How many times have my son, age 22 and daughter, age 19 seen male bodies kicked in the balls, balls set on fire, balls attacked by a dog, hit by a bowling ball, bit, hit. slapped, kicked, or sliced off by women…on and on, a hundred, two hundred times in ten years of cartoons and movies, snicker snicker. Male bodies have less value so if they die in work, or war, no big deal, as long as girls and women are not coming home in body bags. If we didn’t have enough Kevelar and women were dying in Iraq, in the numbers men are, don’t you think men would send money to protect women. We love our women.

American women, some, can go buy $2,000 dollar purses and not think twice about males dying in Iraq because they didn’t have an extra $50.00 for a better helmet but if women were dying American women and men would spend two hundred on each woman, Gucci helmets, field tested by American men.

Male bodies are dirty and disgusting we are taught, so make a web site and suggest you can cut them up (S.C.U.M. society for cutting up men) and some will be slightly offended but most don’t care.

And no matter if you are educated and sophisticated, a celeb on movies, or the news, you can joke about males being castrated, and call someone “that dick” and people smile. Try joking about slicing off breasts or try calling someone a cunt and you lose your job.

I can’t even write dick and cock without thinking I might be censored while the Vagina Monologue crew spew all the names they can think of and because it’s women’s bodies, women suporting teh program… it’s seen as art.

Women’s vaginas are flowers and men’s cocks are disgusting organs that penetrate the lovely flowers – that is the feminist view of men and women’s bodies … (I know, not ALL feminists, but enough to influence the culture) the constant theme of kicking men in the balls for humor, or revenge, is almost a laugh track … Hollywood writer for humor or cop show is pressed for time, needs to fill in a minute or two “…, well, let’s try to get in a few kicks to the balls they always find that funny.” We are taught to find it funny. We are taught that a man who rips at a womans sexual organs and tears them should get life in prison. We are not teaching our children well. End Rant.

I was told that she ripped up his truck “just in case” he cheats on her. that he hadn’t actually cheated on her yet.

When women get revenge on men for “cheating” or even suspicion of, women cheer. When men get revenge on women for cheating, women jeer.

Men and women support women who were “hurt” by a cheating man, but a man cheated on, the assumption is that he had it coming.

I was surprised, growing up in America, with America’s attitude toward male bodies (obscene, ugly dirty – how else do we find that girls are defiled when having sex with older men but males are enhanced by sex with older women) when I saw photos of male sexual organs from India, or in Japan a parade with a penis as big as a car for a float. I thought, how is it that in our culture a cock is a horror show in in some cultures it’s celebrated as something wonderful that gives live, gives pleasure (to both the giver and receiver) and is a symbol of male health, vitality. (Obese – out of shape men have trouble whereas athletic men don’t have as much need of Viagra)

The kick to the bakks for humor in every third teen age movie, the snip snip scissors fingers of women who enjoyed Bobbit getting his dick cut off -with female commentators making jokes about men crossing their legs while women said “NOW do you get it?” is part of the gender war. (Ya, He was in the wrong some women say of Bobbit the male, while the female reaction was “over the top” – over the top, is that all it was – she was over the top, but how fun to see a guy get it when he is such a PRICK towards his wife the sistahs say nudge nudge, wink, wink, a bloody cock tossed out of a car window, Ha Ha . And did you know that Mrs. Bobbit later punched her mother in the face while watching TV with her, maybe she wasn’t sugar and spice after all- maybe he didn’t have it coming after all.

So shred a mans dick, rip his balls, whatever, it’s just male sexual organs, doesn’t matter in American culture, while we have the “vagina monologues” and women shriek CUNT,CUNT, CUNT and the press let’s us know how women are taking back their sexual organs as something to love, not defile, and I wonder how they can get hundreds of thousands of men and women to join in praising women’s sexual organs as the giver of life, pleasure, comparing it to a flower… with dozens of national news articles about VAGINA’s, using crude references too asking us to celebrate women’s vaginas, to honor them, to respect them. Yet when I write this rant and I write Cock, or Dick, I wonder if it will be censored because that’s obscene, unlike women’s sex organs.

A man shreding his wife’s labia with his finger nails, ripping the libs, cutting the clit, making her hurt and bleed and suffer both the pain and public attention would cause most of us to treat such a man as a beast and to punish him. No male commentator in the media would dare malke light of it… and keep his job.

And we don’t really do more than write angry notes to each other, the choir, the few men who “get it” and the few women who care… it’s been going on like this for years. Women in the media make jokes about castration, or snicker, when a man gets harmed, and those SAME women would want a man fired for treating females as equals when it comes to such things.

Mention that there is a double standard here and you will see confusion, so what, men are pigs, women are angels, it’s just different, can’t you see that, don’t you feel that in your heart, after 40 years of male bashing it seems almost fair to too many of us.

And when country music singer Carrie Underwood does a song about doing several thousand dollars worth of damage go a guy’s truck after he cheats on her, it makes ACM (or was it CMA?) Song of the Year. It was also number 3 in country radio, so there must have been a lot of people (i.e., women) requesting it.

Apparently there are a lot of women out there who think that it is their right and duty to inflict whatever damage they see fit on men who don’t do what the women want. Hate to tell you girls, but the proper response when the guy cheats on you is to just leave the relationship.

    and do not make babies.
and do not pay for the dinner.
and never loan a women money.
    and never buy them gifts.
and stay away from their family events.
and don’t take her to man hating movies.
this list is endless. i’m watching football.

Notice how the femal attacker started out by describing herself as the victim? Although the man’s genitals are hanging off of him in a bloody mess, he is now thrown onto the defensive. I’m sure the first thing the cops asked about is what he did to deserve it.

Gee, let’s see what they would have called it if the man attacked his wife in her sleep. Can you say ATTEMPTED MURDER?

Here’s the solution for men: Do not marry and do not cohabitate. Period.
