A friend of mine recently divorced and his wife chose to get a "buy out" (he paid her a handsome reward for the equity in the home that he had paid into.) She bought a small home nearby.

During the marriage, he had done what Glenn did: Fixed up a starter home. Almost immediately after the divorce, she discovered that her home needed new windows. She got handed the bill for a few grand and complained bitterly about it (previously, her husband would have done the work for a fraction of the price.)

It's amazing that women have this attitude in this country to expect more goodies piled up on top of one-another. Only a fool would marry one.

"push presents" are a joke to any clear thinking adult, regardless of gender. any mother who thinks a father owes her additional stuff at the time of birth......has simply created life with the wrong host. i do believe this women on a pedestal thing has gone on long enough and far enough. men need to grow some stones and stop growing kids, for the time being. maybe in a 100 years or so. lol.
