Hillary's "Iron My Shirt" Protester Was Yet Another Audience Plant

Monday, January 7, 2008
By David R. Usher

Today at a whistle stop in Salem, New Hampshire, an alleged protester raised a sign saying “Iron My Shirt” while hollering the same idiotic slogan.

I do not know anybody in the men’s movement who would resort to this level of idiocy. I do, however, know a few individuals hitting the whistle stops with truly intelligent questions, all of whom have been hustled away literally before they could finish the question.

The way Hillary handled the situation was too smooth and prepared to be a legitimate protest. Having worked in the entertainment business previously, I know a plant when I see one. Hillary spammed the Florida debates with stool pigeons and was caught red-handed. She is up to her old tricks trying to turn her presidency into a feminist women’s entitlement issue. In fact, I’m so sure this guy was a plant I’ll buy Hillary a vegetarian salad if it wasn’t.

The AP lied about what went on. They claim that two men were yelling “Iron My Shirt”. The video clearly evidences a lone person.

Hillary is a power-mad woman who will go to any ends to pontificate, yell, cry, wheedle, cajole, or bullyrag herself into the Presidency. She will never get it, because America is too wise to the wiles of radical feminism to believe she has anything other than trouble to offer America.

Ah, the burden of so many eons of oppression predisposes such feminazis to stoop low. That’s how Hillary got under her stone in the first place.

    progressnerd Says:

No, there are two people there. Only one — the big guy — is holding a sign. Another guy is standing, sort of behind him. And the police then escort two men out.

  3. 3
    college activist Says:

I heard no-one could find these mystery men after they were escorted out of the place?…(sounds fishy)

This women has a history of “planting”, and these men could very well be her latest straw men.

Hillary is like a modern day don-quiote, placing these straw men out there, then charging at them bravelly.

She’s showing all the men/women that she means business!!

    college activist Says:

An bold investigative journalist should be all over this.

Someone could probably write a bestseller on Hillary’s campaign circus of lies, tears, straw men, and plantings!!

Only one guy had a sign, and I heard only one guy yelling “Iron My Shirt” in the video.

I hope you’re right. I definitely don’t have your confidence.

There is nothing degrading about ironing. It is a good and very necessary task. Nor is there anything intrinsically demeaning about dusting and polishing furniture, sewing, mending, cooking, or any of the other tasks that have historically been considered “women’s work.” They may have been assigned to women because we were not able to do the more dangerous, strength-intensive tasks done by men or because pregnancy and childbirth meant we were unable to venture out as much. The historical division of work between the sexes was a reflection of biologically based realities rather than the result of an insidious conspiracy whether patriarchal or matriarchal.
“Iron My Shirt” makes little sense as a taunt.

    wadestar Says:

    To Denise…

I agree with you that there should be nothing considered degrading about doing what has been traditionally considered “women’s work”. That said, “Iron My Shirt” clearly makes sense as a taunt and even more so if this individual is a plant. Telling a ‘powerful’ woman that she is better suited to doing a man’s laundry is, to a feminist, the equivalent of poking a junk yard dog with a sharp stick.

  9. 9
    James Meager Says:

Sorry, but in this context it does not make sense as a taunt. Hilary has lived such an otherwise privileged life I bet she doesn’t know how to iron a shirt. (She probably doesn’t know how to bake cookies either.)

    college activist Says:

If it’s true, and she planted these men, It should be considered

    “hate speech”.

For she knowingly and willfully mislead the public by using false, incendiary rhetoric, to create a hate/bias against a whole group of people!!

I wander if her campaign staff knew of this plan to “plant” people in as straw men for her to attack???

Did the campaign staff know and approve of her last “planting” of questioners a few months ago??

Where did the real investigative journalists in this country go???

.. heres the last time she planted..

But she promised she would never do it again!!!

    Warner Todd Huston Says:

Sorry, but you are all wrong. It was no plant by Hillary. It was a mere radio stunt.

I watched the video a few times, and it seems to well choreographed!!

Did you see the way she stressed the words..”turn on the lights”..

She was hoping the media would grab onto that phrase and make her a hero!!

She was hoping that that phrase would go down in school books for children.. Hillary Clinton says.”turn on the lights” and saves the world sort of thing!!

It seems to well timed, and i wander if the audiance saw these guys standing there with that sign, before the media even turned on their cameras??

  14. 14
    college activist Says:

so todd basically you’re saying she does get the.. Straw man attack, you’re my hero award!!

I would like to interview these guys, because I still think it was some sort of plant, and now she knows we know, and has come up with yet another fabrication!!

    mruffolo Says:

A feminist calling a man sexist is like the pot calling the kettle black.

Hillary is smart though. By allowing the protester in her meeting, she can later blame sexism for her defeat, not character, chemistry questions.

The winner is a Boston radio station WBCN 104.1 that sent the protester there as a gag.

Hillary and her staff do nothing without a plan. This planting was figured out, so she had to come up with yet another story!!

  17. 17
    lieweary Says:

Plant or not, “Iron my shirts” is a legitimate response to the Hilldebeast, whose “35 years experience” amount to nothing more than ironing her husband’s clothes– and washing the stench of other women from his underwear. She brings no more to the table than any housewife. For her to iron shirts for the rest of her life would be far more honest and honorable than running for president on her husband’s name.

    college activist Says:

    ..”she” staged the event!!

1.It was a closed event, and people were screened to be let in!!

    2. Someone that was there say’s he saw these two talking with Hillary’s staff, and Hillary even gave theseguys a front row seat!

    Pilgrim Says:

I just linked your article over at Say Anything http://sayanythingblog.com/index.php and my first commenter advised me that it in fact is a radio show hoax. Hot Air has the details.

But…like I said in my article, I’d not waste my time offering her a salad. Some raw meat, maybe?

  20. 20
    David R. Usher Says:

I still squarely believe it was a plant. Hillary could get anybody to do it. It doesn’t take much to get an attention-seeking radio personality to do something silly or outrageous to get some attention. These campaigns pay folks to do things like this. Most radio jocks are starving. So I don’t buy the line that it was just a stupid attention-seeking radio jock.

Security is fantastically high at these things. I don’t see how anybody could have gotten a big sign like that into the room without a backstage pass or clearance. That was a large sign. It was not folded or crinkled, and did not appear to have been rolled up. The guy was let in there intentionally by someone involved with the event.

This was staged. Hillary had her lines down pat — her response was far too measured and her “response talking points” too slick to be merely off-the-cuff.

  21. 21
    Bobzilla Says:

It seems odd. Nothing like this has happened before. Before the PRIMARY I mean. Convenient timing. Too convenient for me. A straw man for sure. I don’t care who did it. I will vote for someone who earns it and deserves it! Not for someone who uses sympathy to gain votes. Truly pathetic. Worse still. Later she CRIED because she lost! Then she blamed the voters!

You want to know what Americans think of Hillary? Check the comments. They rarely have anything good to say about her. I’m loving it!

1.It was a closed event, and people were screened to be let in!!

    2. Someone that was there say’s he saw these two talking with Hillary’s staff, and Hillary even gave theseguys a front row seat!

And only her, and maybe her staff know the truth of how much they knew and didn’t know!!

And since there is no such thing in America anymore as a bold investigateive journalist, we may have to just leave it at that!!

  23. 23
    college activist Says:

Bobzilla, she tried to use more than sympathy to get elected, some could argue she tried to stage and exploit using a victim demagoguery tactic!!

She staged a show to incite predjudice and hatred against men, in order to get votes!!I think in some countries that is even considered
    “hate speech”

  24. 24
    Bobzilla Says:

    college activist,

I have been reading your posts for a while and I’ve gotta say I like the way you think!

  25. 25
    college activist Says:

This is actually a huge news story, that will be conveniently disregarded!!

But here are a few tips if there are any bold investigative journalists out there..

    1. interview the police, and ask them if they were briefed on how to approach these guys. And if they were briefed, then it shows planning, and proves it was a staged event beforehand, and Hillary did participate in the planning!!

    2. interview the staff that helped put the event together that night!!

    3. Ask and interview some of the attendees, and ask them what these men were doing for the 20 minutes or so, before the camera’s started rolling, and did anyone see the big signs they had ???(as it was a very small room, I would be shocked if no-one saw these men carrying these huge signs)

    4. Did she see these signs when she offered these men seats right in the front???
Hillary say,s she didn’t know about this media stunt, There are others that say she did!!
some say.. Whats the big deal if she did help stage this event??

As an MRA, i find it distastefull to use fabricated straw men attacks to villfy men, in order to get the womens vote!! It’s just wrong!!
