Gina Elise of ‘Pin Ups for Vets’ Thanks Our Readers

I got a nice poster from her. As a vet with a 100% disability from the military I have run into programs where others seem to just want to profit while getting strokes for there efforts and most of the donations too.

I get things in the maile where some assume I am sitting in a wheel chair, disabled, drooling. You get a piece of leather and straps to make a primative wallet (like cub scouts age 10) when I already have two really nice wallets, one from France, expensive. You get a little card with your cheap ass piece of leather and a thank you note from – in my case – a woman who made a donation. I suspect she donated $25.00 to $50.00 and $ 48 was kept for operating costs. With the wallet comes a little card to fill out thanking the person for helping the vet. I gues it makes the donar feel appreciated but they don’t likely know they got ripped off and so did the vet. (Others might see this differently)

I sent the card to the woman and said “just bake or buy a pie” take it to a vet’s hospital, give it to the staff who work there, because they are not paid near what they are worth and they are the once really taking care of vets.

I question GL about her motives already… as some have. She seems very sincere and her poster and the note she wrote to me made me smile. I feel guilty getting it because athough I do have a 100 % disability I jog, I can read, I have a great family, wife, and kids, and I know that there are veterans that compared to me should be rated 200% – burned, blinded, (Guess the poster won’t work for them) really messed up. I have seen many guys in vet’s groups, WW11, Korea, Viet Nam – who paid a heavy price for being men. To see a woman sharing – with veterans – in any way, rather than as many women do, simply noticing veterans day as a day to shop, – is cool.

I am pretty sure most disabled veteran’s – especially those who have ever been insulted or slighted by women related to military duty, as in “Men make war, let them die in them” “Baby killers” whatever, to simply hear as i do when I use my “disabled veteran/prisoner of war” pass, in public state parks “Thanks for serving our country” it’s a pleasure. To see Gina L’s butt hanging out a bit from her short shorts, calvs flexed in heel, with her flirtatous manner, caring, and cuteness, is also a pleasure. She is not just showing off her ass ets. ha

So, if you know of a vet, send them a poster, 99% of the time I am sure it would be a hit. If some women think that women are being exploited, tell them to get drafted, go to war, get injured and then think about which gender is exploited -
