And a bunch of towel-heads STILL bloodied our noses with a box of $1.29 box-cutters! It's time to start thinking about Methodology and Bang for our bucks, instead of sheer dollars. In addition to everything outlined above I would enact a 10 year moratorium between the time a general retires and he can be hired or contracted (even through a 3rd party) by a weapons/vehicle manufacturer (or it's subsidiaries). The reason for this is necessary. This will cut down on corrupt generals stating making advisements that a certain weapon or vehicle is "necessary" in a tit-for-tat move where the company agrees to hire him as a "consultant" later on.
