Governor Schwarzenegger: ‘My Kids Need Their Father Around’

Saturday, March 8, 2008
By Glenn Sacks

In a recent Los Angeles Times story, Governor Schwarzenegger, my wife’s favorite politician, spoke about his kids’ need to have their father as a regular part of their lives. He said:

“The question is how can I be with my family, because that is extremely important, to be with my kids. They are all growing up. They are in their teens. They need their father around.

“I felt it took a toll on my family not being at home every day. So what I am trying to do is find that balance between the family and running the state.”

Schwarzenegger, pictured with wife Maria Shriver and one of his two sons, has four children, ranging in age from 12 to 19.

The story is Governor’s high-flying commute draws flak. Thanks to Peter, a reader, for sending it.

… Sure, your kids need you as their father around, Arnold. They must be more special than other kids deprived of their own fathers?

Now what steps have you taken as a leading male to ensure other kids, have their own fathers around ?

What have all you men in positions of authority done to ensure other fathers are accorded a presence in their kids lives ?

And when you next see the president, a conservative who pretends to have no concern in this grave matter, be sure to ask him the same.

Well the statement pretty hyprocritical for the governor of California. A state renowned for feminist man hating and child stealing tendencies.
Well Arnold if fathers are so important then start passing some tough new laws to make the courts and women respect that God given right.
Make it so men can be fathers again and that the right to be a parent is a right for both fathers and mothers. Put a stop to the family destruction that is killing our country. Do them like you did the bad guys in your movies.
Be the heroic example you have often protrayed on the silverscreen. The women and the family court “terrorist” will hate you, but everyone else, ie people with decency, moral and some good old fashioned common sense, will love you. You sons will love you and so will the sons of other men who won’t have to subject the next generation to the “failed social engineering experiment” the feminist have tried to force down our throats.
