I don’t think I would say that they “refuse to give up their art” – they know they’re producing stinkers – based on the pre release hype.

More accurate would be that they ‘refuse to give up (and not produce) their leftist politics, despite the cost.’

Eventually its got to stop, and I think there is already some talk about that – Spielberg was talking not too long ago about it being unrealistic to keep making $200million movies – and I think that is largely because they keep paying zillions to produce stinkers.

You’d think that with the successes of LOTR, Narnia, 300, etc, that there’s a certain message that the public is willing to pay for, and its not negative, leftist crap.
